About the Podcast:
BOB SAGET’S HERE FOR YOU is a podcast that is like no other- Because it goes inside Bob Saget’s mind, and then quickly filters out through his mouth. Bob has a way of calming people with genuine empathy and humor while they’re going through a difficult time, which we all are at present. Reaching his unusually diverse audience that he talks to as a friend, Bob is the dad with great advice, the irreverent funny guy who’s always there when you need a laugh, and the free-associative Bob who goes off on crazy tangents then returns to the subject at hand, as serious or as comedic as it may be, to wrap up each episode in a way only Bob can do. Because he really does believe, “He’s here for you."

I was in some bands back in the early ninetes, but everyone was so much better than me, and we covered the Counting Crows. I met my future wife, at that time, and I kinda stopped playing guitar, at least seriously. She and I have been together since 1994, we talk often about hearing the Counting Crows, playing their music and in some ways brought us closer together. Adam's music saved me in some ways, back then, and to this day I still cover his songs on my acoustic for friends and family 😁
We miss Bob so much. We're so lucky we can still have him with us through his work.
Ya but he was just not funny. Sucked at comedy
No we don't
@@EnDependance123 Exactly! He was fantastic on HIMYM, but he was NOT funny at all. Good actor, terrible comedian.
dang vax
@@EnDependance123 Weird how all the comedians loved him though. They got it.
The soundtrack to your young self stays with you for Life. To some, it was The Beatles, or Springstein, or Petty...mine was Adam Duritz and Counting Crows. I'm thankful for all that music Adam wrote that made me FEEL.
Watching this video podcast in March 2022 is sad to think Bob is gone such a short time later. It was such a fun interview. To sit with Adam and just visit and talk for an hour and a half on a beautiful sunny day....RIP Mr. Saget!
I think this might be the best Adam Duritz interview ever done, I've never heard him just happily talk and ramble exactly like he's just hanging out with an old friend, which he clearly is. I've learned more in an hour and a half here than in 30 years of nonsense MTV and short form radio interviews. And not just about Adam and Bob, but about music, writing, the industry, life in different parts of the world, relationships, friends, getting old. This was fascinating. Yeah the Rogan interview was good, but not nearly as relaxed and fun to listen to. Its also lovely to see Adam relaxed and happy, and apparently like an hour down the road from me which is surreal.
The best interview with Adam Duritz I've ever seen. Two friends chilling talking about everything. Relaxed, unpretentious, genuine conversation. I really like how Bob lets Adam talk uninterrupted (good interviewer).
August...is a gem. I've played it so often, every song has meaning and even after all these years it still has meaning.
I like Duritz. He seems like a really cool, down to earth guy who doesn't take himself too seriously.
There's only very few artists who touches deeply into your soul and it's so few but Adam is one of them people who could touch your soul
have you ever noticed how famous people like to sit around and tell each other how much they "love" each other, how great they think each other are, and all the cool times they've had with each other and their mutual friends? they're so cool.
Great guest for #100, Bob! Counting Crows are one of my favorite bands of all time.
Made my day... thanks Bob and Adam!!!
We attended the San Diego concert last week. I had seats eight rows from the stage but ended up at the rails for the entire concert. Adam sang my favorite songs from the past and the new songs from album. I was a happy girl 🥰.
Oh, wow.... just found this and it is so bittersweet to watch after Bob's passing. Just two buddies talking.... just great!
Mr. Jones strikes up a conversation (with Bob)..
Adam is not Mr Jones though
According to Adam, Mr. Jones is his friend Marty Jones.
I still listen Round here regularly
I watched at least 4 or 5 Duritz interviews from the latest round and this is by far the best and most insightful
This was a fun episode! Adam is correct about how wonderful Bob is! His podcast is the best!!! 🙌🎙
R.I.P. Bob Saget. I'm glad this videobpopped up again in my video suggestions. Love both these guys.
RIP Bob Saget. :( You will be missed
This man is so amazing and I cannot wait to see him live in 20 days at Red Butte in Utah. Love love love him and his music and his poetic talents.
F dude. Two inspirational men in my life. I'll miss you Bob.
Never ever really paid attention to Bob saget but hearing Norm Macdonald praise him so much you know he's got to be a good guy
I still can't believe you're gone Bob
And it’s been ah… Long December and there’s reason to believe maybe this year will be better then the last…
thanks for this......gonna get the album now.....shout out from South Africa
Adam Duritz, lead singer of the Counting Crows, talks about shooting birds and eating them. Amazing.
RIP, loved Bob

I just saw him in Paso Robles, Ca. One of the best shows I've ever seen.
I was there too 👍
You will always be Danny Tanner.
You two guys represent the early 1990s for me. Counting Crows is the last band I officially got into. Ed Van Fleet is the other final musician. I really got into.
Great interview! Had a “where are they now” moment. Good to see Adam looking great and still making music with soul. Checking out the new EP now. Wow EP I just aged myself. Bob I love that you say to people “ hey I don’t see you trying to make any jokes”. Great point. It’s better to try than to not have any humor at all. Love to you both from Cleveland Ohio
I was AT the New Orleans show!
amazing show. amazing band.
I know season 4 is over but you did so good on the masked singer. Most of the time i imagine you and Jellyfish together in the super 6.
Cpngrats on your 100th podcast Bob!
Congrats on the 100th episode. Another good episode aswell.
RIP Bob💜
I’m going to end up watching this a dozen times.
Wish you were outdoors at Red Rock in Denver.
Great interview! 💕
Really enjoyed this interview.
Tell Adam its time for a Don Henley collaboration!
Hey bob ! Best wishes on your 100 episode. Podcast #1

I think you better type your Saget in
And get your meats shipped straight to your door
This is awesome! How did it take a month for me to find this?
I believe the Olsen Twins were big Counting Crows fans if I remember hearing that right years ago.
That was a hard listen. As friends, they were making so many plans to see one another again. Hard to ignore the sincerity in that relationship.
RIP Bob.
Adam looks like John Popper of Blues Traveler with the hat.
Interesting that now we know who Z is in the long form video. Plus in the fourth song "Z tried to edit reddit"
RIPBS
36:11 He called it
I remember when Merle Haggard was asked by Bob Dylan why am I loosing audiences at concerts, what am I doing wrong? Merle replied, play your old songs that they know you by and they will come back. Has anyone watched the Havana rolling stones concert? It was excellent, all the old good songs that people love. After the last 2 concerts in WA State we swore we wouldn’t go see Counting Crows again after 20 years of seeing them but we’re going to Redmond and Troutdale and I hope they plays there hits and not the new stuff that drives people away. The last Concert in WA Was bad and you didn’t play like you even wanted to be there, you didn’t even have a screen behind you.
Gold bond!!!!
That is some old school shit.
😔😔😔😔😔🕊
Rip Adam :(
Lemme hold a pork chop Tanner
I ate vegan fish, freezer section &&&&&it's delicious. It tastes more like fish then fish.
Bye Bob. :(
When you gonna have that old chunk of coal Norm on the thing there?
Has he got Four White Stallions?
Everything is sad.
Blue morning blue morning wrapped in dreads of Jewish froes
This guy can sing nice, but his clingy ness, will definitely leave his ass all alone.
