Lol, me too ... how most of model daigatsu get 5star ncap, ? But in real life their chasis is body lightweight and a bit dangerous when cruising high speed

what i see in terms of chasis, the new axia better than myvi 2017. 4 star maybe the safety electronics not on par with myvi or maybe the standard was altered for better.

Asean Ncap should add another test for accident from behind of the car
rugila beli dahla mahal dari saga keta kecik . saga pun 4 bintang jugak lebih murah tapi lebih besar dan lebih selesa dipandu. kelebihan jimat minyak je sebab enjin 1.0
Memang saga lagi selesa. Tapi cabin space axia ni lebih luas dari saga. Kalau saga jimat minyak mcm axia ni, takde chance axia ni boleh jual. Itu je sales point pooodua.
Satu kelemahan saga. Design dalam terlampau buruk
They also should do test with big vehicle ramming from behind... Remember the news about Perodua Myvi getting crushed by a lorry? The driver survived but the car is gone, pancaked.. Myvi 5 star?
i remember.. there's 2 almost the same accident. Yellow Myvi Lagi Best ( 3star ) and White Myvi 2015 ( 4 star ).. both got crushed by lorry. lucky both driver survived..
a big step up in terms of safety features compared to before even tho it still getting 4 stars instead of 5.. but yeah, it's better
Its overall score got dragged down to 4 stars because the Axis's crash prevention system like the AEB isn't so good at detecting motorcycles 😅.

That emergency brake feature could be dangerous too... Axia could've been rear ended that way

This test result shows actual safety performance of this vehicle because basically the vehicles tested on NCAP are purchased from market not specally produce from manufacturers.Daihatsu's cheating is only related with development process. Actual car performance is as showed on this test.
Kalau Perodua guna variant AV untuk side crash mesti rating naik..variant AV je ada curtain airbag...

For me. The front collision is important. I've heard the side collision failed. For me. The side collision doesn't matter.

Rear seats no extendable headrests is a BIG safety discount. The built in rests are merely cosmetics and only for short people/10 year-olds. Why save on the small money?

To rate the whole line up, they must give lowest variant, this shows even consumers buying the cheapest option, safety is not compromised

@@raisselekk044The SE variant came with two airbags as usual like the G and X, while the highest AV variants gets six airbags.

bezza klu tak silap perodua reinforced bahagian depan.. tu yg dpt rating tinggi dari axia lama.. tapi skrg ni Asean Ncap makin strict.. klu bezza tu buat test lagi sekali mungkin dpt 4 bintang je

Bezza test tahun 2016, pakai protokol lama. Axia baru test pakai protokol baru start 2020, lagi strict.

Why crash test you use a variant that only has 2 airbags?
They use the lowest variant as that is probably the most “mesra rakyat” and will be the most variant on the road.

2: side crash say has 6 Airbag but where the Airbag at side?? only put the sensor at front?? (don't liar cause the spec is Full spec, LED headlights)
3: breaking test.... WHAT THE CAR WAS HEAVY AT FRONT SIDE.... if emergency stop 100kmh - 0 the car will lost stability at back, that DANGEROUS how ANCAP CAN GIVE THIS CAR 4 STAR??

They always test the lowest spec available, so you can assume the higher spec are more safe considering it has more safety features than the lowest spec

Ni lowest spec untuk Axia. Side crash test mana ada deploy airbag. Side airbag je yang deploy. Yang ada side airbag untuk Axia higher spec AV je. Untuk lowest spec dapat 4 bintang tu dah kira okay dah. Takkan nak 2 bintang pulak. Agak-agak siapa nak beli 😅😅
