Is this device still available? Can't find it anywhere. Thought it might be built into ableton now, but unless i don't have the packs installed I dont think so... im on Ableton 12
Something I particularly like is the tempo of the video/tutorial. Often I'm skipping through the video. And thanks for stopping to rework the sound of the instrument to better fit the sequence. TOP vid!
Nice explanation here! What about if I want to random a specific range from midi? For example if I use drum rack instead of wavetable and I want the sequencer to randomise the pitch from a specific midi range.. Any suggestions?
Thx for this tutorial... However it seems like this seq isn't included in Live 11, is it?... And also, I just can't find where to download it from... Has it been replaced by the Probability pack?... Thx heaps again
I dont get why they don't implemented to randomize the note triggers itself, or to randomize everything by one click. To randomize triggers is as important as the pitch randomization, so it's kinda useless for me without that
Thank you, Yeuda. Comprehensive and clear ;)
Very comprehensive video, thanks!
Helpful review. Amazing the stuff that comes with Ableton Live.
Always the best! Thank you for providing such great clear and helpful instruction for everything Ableton. You rock!
1:25 This was driving me insane and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. THANK YOU!!!
very helpful, informative and inspiring, I will return to this device and make more music with it, thank you

Could it be that this is not compatible with Ableton Live 11 ?
Thnks!

Sounds like a job for the random midi effect combined with scale midi effect (or a midi effect rack) that can limit the note range

It’s in a discontinued pack that you can still download and use. Search for Max For Live essentials on the Ableton site
@@beatlabacademy got it... Found... Thx heaps really
Cool

Agree, but still a great device
Can't you do that on the bottom row, setting under the Fill button?
