What a beauty! Hope the sale goes well for you. Great walk thru. Gorgeous yacht, love the look, the lines, everything about it. You’ve kept it up nicely. Bravo!
Amazing condition for her age and use. Love the aft deck and larger quarter birth. Not as good as center cocpit but a good compromise. Don’t like clipper bows with sprits. Looks like tha rudder may have a little balance to the leading edge, nice. And like the large aperature for the prop. They (the designer) got the tankage backwards. I m going to say it again folks: You can make water, BUT YOU CAN’T MAKE FUEL! She even has a nice Specta 12V water maker! Now you end up carrying a bunch of Jugs on deck. Not good for a dedicated and serious CRUISER. My cal had 270 gals of fuel. The Caliber 40 LRC has 240. I didn’t have to sit drifting miserably in the doldrums, barely moving while getting clobbered with thunderstorm. Very nice for an aft cockpit boat. And in beautiful shape. Oh, also like the whiter interior. Very practical and tasteful.
Nice. The things that I would add/upgrade... more solar and LiFePo house batteries and more than 3. Scuba air compressor. Perhaps a tiny solid fuel heater up front on that small shelf area. I would also get a countertop induction range. I really like this boat.
Very beautiful boat indeed. I don't know about the comparison with house prices: Where I live here in Denmark, on the countryside, half of that kind of money could buy my a big beautiful house on the country with a bit of land even. It is not reasonable to always compare with big city prices, like almost all sailing channels do, because most people, who wants to go cruising anyway, most likely already seek away from the big cities. I certainly do. I hate big cities everywhere: I hated London, I have just been in Mumbai and Chennai, which are boat so hot and essentially one gigantic toilet. I hate Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. When I am in a big city, almost always to be in transit for some destination, I can't get out quick enough again.
What a gorgeous watercraft! That Bimini would be necessary to me with my Irish skin. The kitchen is killer, the lounge is perfect. That radar would be a huge comfort in many parts of the world. The desk is so well kept it’s like a work of art. And the owners want to sell this? They obviously love the boat. Wowzers.
Very nice and well looked after boat, however given the number of boating channel I see doing unexpected engine work I cringe at the need to dismantle the kitchen or do boat yoga to get right around the engine, maybe fine if you are under 50 but not so much fun if you are retired which may well be the target market .
Maybe someone can help shed some light here, I'm totally lost on something. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who looks at all of the vessels in my price range when I see some old girl like this on sale for 250k. I mean, given what all options are available for that price range, why in the world would someone want something so old like this? Everything has a lifespan, including fiberglass. Not to mention wiring and so on and I'm not even going to discuss the more complicated systems. I even get how awesome some of these boats were in their day... but now most of these designs are just old. There have been many improvements made. SO I ask, why in the world would someone spend 250k on this boat?
Love the video as always. I believe the price is a little bit too high. You can get something much more modern in that price range. Keep the videos coming can’t wait for the next one .
Great idea - super easy to do I'm sure. Just move them outboard. Piece of cake.. Or your could just watch where you step. Maybe wear these things called....wait for it...shoes?
Lovely looking boat, I miss seeing the folding cabinet door/table combination found on the 36ft. I think it's a great feature. Love the channel and content.
Idk if anyone with money has something like this just sitting it's been me and my suns dream to deal on one I'm 34 and on ss from a thiefs bullet if we could make payments it would make our dream a reality

I am impressed with this yacht, we don't see them in Europe. She looks like a proper blue water cruiser.
So do you have to completely disassemble the sink and counter to remove the engine?
Really very nice and comfortable looking boat! What is the price and under what flag of joy is it?

Nice yacht.
Very Nice. Thank you. You're still the best.
Where is it? How much is it
Nice video of a fine vessel...!
beautiful boat, Chuck's creations are alwas fantastic
Beautiful yacht
Thats is quite a beautiful boat
I'm happy for you that those Rich Mormons are sponsoring you
Very nice sailboat. Love the channel.
Very nice yacht!
Great video
Amazing boat. It is a true Bluewater cruiser. The only possible problem I could see is the fiberglass fuel tanks that makes us no deal for me.
Hi Roger. Y r fibreglass fuel tanks not a good thing?
@@woody4269 I don't get that either.
You forgot to mention all the sidestays are completely in the way.
And yet you were able to figure it out.
Yeah wtf's with that?
pretty amazing, I have no experience sailing. Would the owners teach me to sail this boat if I bought it? lol
What a beautiful boat. Thanks again for making such a great video
Magnifique, I love.
Very fine boat;!!
She's a beauty
What is the price.. ?
Perfect
Very nice and well looked after boat, however given the number of boating channel I see doing unexpected engine work I cringe at the need to dismantle the kitchen or do boat yoga to get right around the engine, maybe fine if you are under 50 but not so much fun if you are retired which may well be the target market .
Yep being young like bull is one thing but retired is totally something else. Somehow I don't see 70 year old white hairs up at the top of a mast.
Tough choice between this and a Hinckley Sou’wester 42.
The video also compares it to the Valiant 42, Morris 46 and the Rustler 42.
WOW!!
Lovely boat, but engine access looks a bit impractical and hanging lockers are pretty inadequate considering its size...

Beautiful
Beautiful boat!
Thanks for showing this sir ,But the price ? How much
$249k
Beautiful Boat, just hate dealing with wood.
Love the video as always. I believe the price is a little bit too high. You can get something much more modern in that price range.
Keep the videos coming can’t wait for the next one .
But nothing stronger or more comfortable
This boat leaks in the kitchen area.
Move the chain plates to the outer hull and she will be ready to go. I hate stubbing my toes.
Great idea - super easy to do I'm sure. Just move them outboard. Piece of cake.. Or your could just watch where you step. Maybe wear these things called....wait for it...shoes?
Beautiful boat.thx for the tour
Nook.. "I love a nook kitchen" - she would say.
''The good stories are told already...'' This ship and its interior is one of them.
Looks very nice, is it still for sale?
Price anyone?
It's always listed in the video description because it may change over time.
249K
Lovely looking boat, I miss seeing the folding cabinet door/table combination found on the 36ft. I think it's a great feature.
Love the channel and content.
Oh wow, not excited about that engine access
Its the running backstays that hurt.
Don't need them most of the time so can keep lashed fwd until the time you do want them
Yes...
But i doubt i could get more than 10k for everything i own...
There must be an enormous lazaret under the hatch that was looked. What else, because there is no real aft cabin.
less teak - looks much better...
Those are beautiful boats BUT. In that price range you could be looking as a decent cat.
Idk if anyone with money has something like this just sitting it's been me and my suns dream to deal on one I'm 34 and on ss from a thiefs bullet if we could make payments it would make our dream a reality
beautiful boat, too bad it is only a 32' LWL of living space. For the $$$ just buy a Bene or Jenny or Catalina
That’s such a shame with these older boats. They’re so beautiful but the living space for the money is unreasonable. $250k can get you a nice Benny
@@DefaultUser61 The are prefect size made for the ocean. not a floating condo
*NO*
No way I'm ever spending that kind of cash on a monohull, not when decent cats are the same price...just the way it is.
Thanks for letting us know.
You may prefer the ride in waves at just the right heel in this far more than a cruising cat.
27° heel in a catamaran and you need your liferaft real quick.
Nice boat but you need two heads on a 42
Why is that? Now ya got me curious
@@edwardpardy7866 because people are full of crap.
Another boat with no swim platform.
And no helipad either.
@@heiner71...I spat my coffee on the screen !
Yes and soon I will
Nice one !
