Ouch! Oh no! If you are able and have access to a bathtub treat yourself and body to an Epson salt, apple cider vinegar, and a few drops of lavender essential oil soak. Don’t skimp on the quantity of Epson salt and act. Heating pad may help relax. Hope you feel better and pain free soon enough.

Pro tip, can confirm, white painters tape is amazing for quick decor, cords, etc on white walls! We use it all the time!

I agree slow mornings are my favorite. I love when the kids are off school so we can enjoy the morning and not rush. My husband is the opposite. He says he enjoys waking up feeling like he has a purpose.

Heyy I also bought an apt recently and it’s EXPENSIVE. Just pace yourself. There’s so much pressure to look ‘aesthetic’. Luckily your house is already gorgeous but the rest is going to take time.
100% I mean it’s not even about aesthetics rn, even just buying everything we need to function on a weekly basis is so expensive. Why are trash cans $100? Rn we have a plastic one that was $20 lol.
We still need a lawnmower and things for the yard (that’s a lot of $$$, so def something to think about if you want a yard 😭), we’re not even thinking about dining tables or rugs bc that’s not a priority. We both NEED beds so that’s gonna be expensive, but necessary. Yeah, it’s expensive whether it’s for aesthetics or just function tbh.
And I’m not one of those ppl who wants to buy everything cheap and used just to have it. I’d rather wait and save up or wait til I can make the move to buy something I love and plan to have a long time. Like I wouldn’t go buy a cheap ikea dining table rn (but that’s also bc it’s just 2 of us and we don’t NEED one, so it can wait) I totally get if a family has to do that bc they need to buy more things for a family.
@@SelenaTrevino girl it’s criminal lol nothing prepares you enough for home ownership lol I know it’s worth it in the end with having equity and a place of your own but sometimes I’m like, damn why didn’t I just rent like the rest of my friends 😂 jkjk but after your first year everything will smooth out. Def don’t settle for cheap stuff. Fb marketplace is your friend. And sorry if it came off wrong but when I meant there’s a lot of pressure to be aesthetic, I meant for myself too because I look at social media and I want a perfect place and I think a lot of ppl feel that way. In a rush to make it all complete and nice. But it def takes a while. I’m about to be one year and it’s finally coming together.. 🥹 then I got hit with my property taxes but that’s another story 😂

I have the Home Depot white 2” faux wood cordless blinds going on 5 years and 10/10 would recommend. They’re so easy. I had to custom measure and cut a few as well but they’re the best cost effective option.
My husband and I just bought a Dyson V15 as a Black Friday treat after having a bigger corded Dyson for years and we've used WAY more often. It's so much easier to use!

Girl, I move so much in New York, that's the first thing I do when moving they're cheap and READY.😅 I love your vlogs, you and your boyfriend seem happy and are having fun😊 It's nice to have a "partner in crime", just an expression meaning enjoyment together.😊 Remember, take your time and ENJOY...love from NYC🧯🏠🪴

Cellular blinds are easy (so long as it isn't a greasy mark) so good for bedrooms, lounge rooms etc... All you need is a fluffy duster that you run over them when pulled down or use a small (like handheld small) vaccum to run across gently. They are also great at keeping more heat out than roller blinds (if yours are the ones that have that honeycomb effect.. I am assuming they are).
Also the slat blings (horizontal blinds) are the WORST to clean. Dust builds up onto them (especially if you open the windows behind them) and they seem to take the longest to clean in regards to having to clean each slat individually (mine had the cords inbetween which made it a nightmare). Generally just a pain to clean. Just sharing my thoughts.
also.. do not recommend the cellular blinds in wet areas. (Kitchen window or bathrooms). Again, just my opinion. :)

When we moved into our house, I couldn't stand the skinny blinds! They were so hard to clean! Thank goodness the blinds downstairs are thicker and easy to wipe, but still time-consuming to clean. We did blackout curtains for the bedrooms in coordinating colors.
love that!! I had blackout curtqains all through highschool and I love how they block out the light. But I'm so particular about just having a clean minimal look, so I'm pretty sure I want some sort of blinds, since they don't stick out, they're just in the window sill and can be tucked away lol I love blinds that are thicker for sure.

I'm not sure if this helps or not. But we were able to change the pressure of our tap from underneath our sink. My fiancé did it, so I'm not sure how it's done. But it worked, ours used to shoot out like that too. 😊

Can you provide insight on whether a cordless vacuum is worth it? I heard the battery dies fairly quickly, so not sure if it is better to purchase a corded vacuum at this point.
I have the dyson v8 animal vacuum and the battery sucks
I have the dyson v12 and i get 40 min of battery life wich is enough to vacumm my 1200 sq home. I don’t allow shoes in the hosue so my floors are not bad. You can also get another battery to switch out. It’s expensive though. I hate cords. I get to move freely and quick without changing the plug around 😊
I LOVE IT! I honestly don't know how long the charge really goes, bc after I vacuum everywhere I need to vacuum ,if it says theres less than 20 mins left, I just put it to charge, if there's more than 20 mins left, I know that's enough for me to clean another day. The key thing about owning a dyson, for me, is that I am SO MUCH MORE LIKELY to pick this thing up and vacuum muliple times a week, and just keep areas clean, vs having to deep clean/vacuum (I also don't wear shoes inside which helps SO MUCH with cleanliness omg) so to answer your question, I LOVE MY DYSON. And can I just say, so does my bf. He's been vacuuming so much more now than he ever did before, we both are, just bc of how fun and light it is and how convenient. Plus we always keep ours on eco mode and it works perfectly, so the battery last long enough to clean the entire 2000 sqft. Though I've never had to vcuum it all in one go. I usually maintain the upstairs and the spaces we hangout the most, the living room, entryway, my bedroom, office, my shared bathroom, kitchen, and then have only had to vacuum downstairs like once. I think it's 10000% worth it if you want something that will make cleaning more fun, more functional, lightweight, and something easy to integrate into your daily/weekly life. PLUS, this one has this LED light that shows you the specs of dirt on the floor so you can see when it's cleared up, and it's so satisfying lol.

Ugh I have the cellular blinds, I'd really urge you to reconsider - I've had them up for two years and they look filthy. I keep a very clean home so it is bothering the f out of me. We have to replace them, because I just cant stand looking at them anymore.

Really? What kind of jobs? Depends on the person. I like living here, but I also have family here. It's definitely a very different lifestyle than a lot of other places with larger cities, especially on the east coast. Where are you coming from?
I did not see this until now, but I am on the East Coast currently in PA but moving back to Miami until I find a new job. I saw a lot of Department of Transportation jobs and other analyst positions. I have been considering moving if I can find the right position, hopefully soon! @@SelenaTrevino

I technically bought the house and it's under my name, as I've said before, BUT we both live here together so it's OUR HOME. We make decisions together on everything pertaining to our home! Maybe I'll open up about more details it in another video. I definitely won't be sharing many details, if it's about my relationship, until after I've had a discussion with my bf about what he does/doesn't want online, and what we both agree to.
