Ya the Norn is definitely new the new dominant meta suit at 700. At first I wasn't really impressed. My reasoning is despite its damage, suits with 2 or more melee weapons means more time in combos and recovery meaning the longer an enemy team has to interrupt your combos. Offense system helps mitigate this however and with only 15% of the damage done returning as healing it keeps this thing from being overpowered and broken in melee. If it could heal more it would definitely bee too much. Now where the big problem lies is the weapons that can stun. It can swap from Beam Magnum to Shield cannon and then the under barrel grenade launcher in like 3 to 4 seconds. I think each weapon readies up in about 1 second or less and the charge time for the magnum and shield cannon are 0.8 seconds. This is far too oppressive especially since the suit already excels very well in melee once NT-D activates. And since its NT-D activates at only 90% HP the suit is guaranteed to be a melee monster early on. I feel the best way to balance this unit is drop its melee stat by 5 points, don't let it upgrade melee combo controller to lvl 2 in NT-D and increase the weapon swap times to 2 seconds and increase the charge time on the shield beam cannon to 2.5 seconds.
I kinda hate norn bc it takes almost everything away that made the banshee the banshee your telling me you got rid of a rail gun HEAVY claw for useless little wings and I guess a useful shield he never used

how does the beam jyutte work? in terms of the heavy attack
It’s like having active guard but instead of pressing it you can charge it & it only counters forms of melee attacks
