I was born & raised here. Florida has a bad rep online & I am shook. Granted I didn’t grow up in no hood but at some stage of my life I did end up living in some.
Florida is a very nice place to live of course depending on the area there are pro’s & cons , I lived in the wealthiest city (Boca Raton) & there were the black kids who didn’t know a lick of hood but opted for this lifestyle. So I guess it doesn’t matter where you’re at but who you are & associated with.
I lived in Lehigh Acres for about two years (neighboring city to Ft. Myres) and there’s nothing there🤦🏽 I’d never recommend it. If you stay out of the way cool, there a lot of land & very cheap but high crime rates & bad schools. However, I’ve never felt as if it’s a place to not be able to walk comfortably. If you choose a wicked lifestyle it will follow you😫

What's crazy is all their parents grew up going in and out of these same neighborhoods just having a good time... now these kids beefing from the same hoods. We used to have so much fun in all these neighborhoods. But now thankfully they've gotten them off the streets because I remember several innocent people losing their lives because these fools can't shoot straight.
