- My first flying lesson. In this lesson we covered attitudes & movements, along with compass errors. We had time for a quick circuit upon arriving back at the airport, therefor, I also completed my first takeoff and landing in this lesson.

Glad you liked the video. I agree he does a great job explaining them, so much so that I try and teach it the same way now that I'm an instructor.
Flight Tales ........Wow, an instructor was the goal??? Very cool!!! Not me, just for fun. 20 years as a scuba instructor was enough for me to be responsible for others. Now I just want to be responsible for me!!! Unless of course I feel comfortable with taking a friend or family member for a ride. Enjoy your new career!! You will be good at it, just remember, everyone learns at their own pace. If they have lots of dough to spend and are not afraid to spend it, let them enjoy themselves, or they will get frustrated and want to quit. Don't take advantage of that rare situation of course, but don't pressure them to do things they are not ready mentally for them.....That is me!! I love my instructor, she is great, but there are times I pressure myself, then I do poorly and get frustrated!! Well off I go for my second flight doing circuits!!! Caroline
