Almost perfict! I rode on the Original Hiawatha, often, and worked as a switchmam on the railroad when i was younger. i dont recall ever seeing stainless steel cars use, or bagage cars in the middle of the train.but boy, i wish i could have rode this train,'For the good times!'
Atlantic Coast Line it was Ex-Milwaukee Road, given to Iowa Interstate, bought by WSOR, leased to IAIS again, given back to WSOR, and then sold here to the friends of 261. It left for Minneapolis on CP 287 a month or two ago though.
1:57 You were just out of frame from where I was standing. 2:48 THERE I AM!!! 9:33 At that moment I passed you when I was pacing 261 that infuriated a maniacal Ford Flex driver who threatened to kill me. 11:57 I was behind you.

How often do they take the 261 out?
At least once a year for Polar Express excursions, and usually two or three excursions throughout the year too.
Is there a site where you could look up to see when the excursions are.
@@maxshelltrack9720 261.com/
How about the f7 Class 4-6-4 Hudson Hiawatha.
I'm the kid running at 6:32
I saw myself at 6:14! Leading door of the forward Concessions Car in the middle with the backwards hat. And at 12:27 as well, If you pause it anyway.
What’s the fastest 261 can go on this route?
45 mph at most. 25 mph for most of the journey.
I was the guy with the drone at 2:03
Was that E9 ex-Canadian Pacific?
No it was ex-Milwaukee Road but was painted UP Armour Yellow but with MILW lettering.

It was bought new by the Milwaukee Road, but was most recently owned by the Wisconsin and Southern.
