"This song marks the first time I'm opening up about my life story to my audience. Prior to this, I never felt the need to express my emotions, fearing the vulnerability it would bring. Writing about your fears, feelings and constructing a song based on your inner emotions had made me realise how important it is to share your story with your core fans.“Tied” is about my past experiences as an artist, who maybe got exposed to this business too early and therefore never had a chance to fully develop my own opinion and creativity. She auditioned at 10 and won at 11 and her audition song Stone Cold was so good they had her sing a second song and she sang it in Ukrainian I believe, I will send a request for it. Thanks guys for the great reaction and comments.
Firstly, I believe the word in her lyrics is 'fate' no longer mine, not 'faith' nor 'fame'. But I could SO easily be wrong. Secondly, DANELIYA was born and raised in Khazakhstan (next door neighbor to Ukraine, fellow sufferer under USSR until the final breakup). She won The Voice Kids Ukraine in 2017, at, yes, 10/11 years old. A superstar-in-training! Love her voice! Though I'm not as big a fan of her fav Pop genre as I am of her. She's the youngest of my three top favs amongst the MANY talented singer-songwriter kids in GenZ, Ms. Angelina Jordan is 6 months older, and Ms. Courtney Hadwin is 18 months older than DANELIYA. Totally agree! Be sure to click the 'CC' button to its 'ON' position so you get the provided English subtitles that make this particular copy so very helpful for those of us who failed to learn the languages in use. Note also that at this time, DANELIYA was singing this phonetically using IPA singing techniques as she hadn't yet learned English (though she was already fluent in her home Kazakh language, Russian, and I believe Ukrainian and French, though I'm not positive about when exactly she mastered both. Like other kids growing up elsewhere than here in USA, languages were a MUST LEARN for her. I don't even WANT to know how many she speaks well now. I just know I'm stuck at 1.25 and can't seem to get to 2 even after half a century of life. Sad. Early intervention is the key to both language development and music. Expands brainpower. It oughta be a LAW!!

It was an absolute privilege to stumble across Danelia A few years ago, and she's now, hands down, my go-to voice when I need to feel good! She obviously has wonderful people looking after her best interests, but as a dad, knowing that her parents are on the other side of the world is a little concerning.
Oh it’s definitely concerning on a number of fronts. One never really could know exactly how it’s going unless they personally know her. That said things seem to be going quite well. The main and most important hope is that she is safe and healthy. One of the things I wonder about is how she’s financially supported. It’s possible but highly unlikely in my estimation that she’s currently financially independent. So are her parents paying for her to live here in America on her own? That’s not inexpensive. Or, it could be that she’s supported by others which begs the question, is she still indebted to people even though she’s not signed? So many questions right? But then I think you know it’s all really not my business exactly what is going on. All there is to do is hope that she’s safe, healthy, and not heavily indebted to anyone. That’s all difficult in this industry, unfortunately.
Agreed. Then again, there are challenges to growing up female in the 'stans. I hope and pray she'll do fine here in North America.
She has a green card, so she must have been adopted by a US citizen. Because she is a minor, she is not eligible for a green card. And Kazakhs don't qualify for refugee status. She's been sharing photos and videos about her life in America on social media. She appears to live a carefree, if not generous, life, and it is apparent that her American guardian has provided her with a comfortable living.

Hello folks, I am going to give you the blind audition that she sang almost 7 years ago. I first heard her in November of 2017. She was so polished even then. The caption on the thumbnail read something like 10 yr. old destroys 'Stone Cold'. Now when the video was first presented there were no subtitles. Fortunately, she sang it in English. When I first watched the video it was at right around 800,000 views. Today it's at over 85 million views and still going strong. I also was one of the first couple hundred to subscribe to her fan channel. Now that total is over 1.51 million subscribers.
Daneliya has the bet natural singing voices I've ever heard. She is so smooth and expressive and her tone is so easy to listen to.
