Really interesting and good use of the tool. When using the form with an email field, can it also send email to the email address completed in the field? Therefore, the user would have a copy of the submission.
Update! Clickup allows you to send an email to anyone outside of clickup. It's a really neat feature. It takes automation to another level! Will be doing a video soon how to approach this concept. But picture info being captured in the form and automatically sent to relevant 3rd parties outside your organisation, depending on the inputs. 🤓🤓🤓 these things excite me! "Build with confidence"
@@financetips I would love to figure out how to automatically send submission via email to someone not on ClickUp anytime the form is submitted. OR maybe it's a checkbox and if it's checked, it emails this person. Can't find email as an option in automations.

Yes! Clickup allows you to import data (can be sometimes a little tricky in the beginning). Once you have the headings right it works great! The export function into excel is solid! Totally seamless. What I have noticed, once you get familiar with Dashboards, it's May month and I be sharing dashboard video each Saturday, there might not be a need to export to Excel.
Thanks for the detailed demo. I tried to add a second leave request from the same person and the number of leave days did not update. Is there a way round this? Say the person had 10 days of leave available and on the first leave he took 4 days off. The calculation for the leave days remaining shows 6. Then on the second leave he takes 2 more days it will appear in the task in Leave days remaining as -2 days (because haven't manually filled in the number of days available) Can we make it track the same person's leave days without manually filling the number of leave days remaining for each new task?
Formulas on ClickUp are currently very basic, working on a one to one relationship. With advance formula being released in 2021 I believe this could be possible easier to monitor. Great question, my 'solution' would be: Create a TABLE VIEW and sort by staff member and view the total leave taken by staff member. I am in the process of creating a LinkedIn group and will share the details to ask questions in a closed forum. Glad you enjoyed the video. In the coming two months, many more structured videos in the pipeline.
Clickup has a new relationship field...it is still going through more updates. Relationships will make this possible, and I be be sharing a video in the 3rd quarter once relationship is more built out. Clickup is really Upping their game in the project management space. To my knowledge this is not possible, in the traditional sense.
But there is a workaround.
You can share the "task" with the recipient.
