Please explain the Wifi connection page in detail. I use Android auto and I can enable Wifi Hotspot on my phone and connect the car's wifi to my phone. But I am not able to figure out what the wifi connection does. Does it give you traffic info or does it allow you you check for online map updates or something else? What does it do when its connected to a Wifi hotspot?
Many wifi hotspots are to be used with other passengers in the vehicle. Like a in-house internet to play a game or share data. Not much of internet connection.
Unfortunately my brand new Nissan epower xtrail, infotainment system screen displays black. The team have reset it twice but not fixed it. I am still waiting for repair as they are trying to find out what to do. Any tips?
Hello! I'm wondering what firmware version that car has installed, the reason why is because I'm experiencing issues connecting a Pro Max iOS 17.3 AppleCar wirelessly (on cable works fine) My car is a Qasqai 2024 and on screen it displays 283C35MK7D as software version and it has WIFI capability.
I cannot bring the navigation on the steering screen on my new 2023 qashqai e-power. Can someone please help? The map only shows on the middle screen and its not at all convenient as a new driver in Europe
It can only see your phone contacts when it is connected. Via CarPlay / Android Auto, you can’t disable that. Via Bluetooth, do not allow contact sync when you connect it first time
As I have the same car, I can say that I am so disappointed about the amount of settings... It have lots of useless stuff, like always offers to switch to guest, and misses options like auto lock while driving. As well as driving mode resets each time I start a car. It looks great, but ability to adjust it to my needs is limited to stone age :|
@@JerryPanandCars yea, I do, but it still lacks lots of settings, e.g.: I would love to lock my doors when car starts to move, or open/close sunroof remotely, insead of all windows and so on. This was on some previous cars I had, so I miss that a lot :/
The voice on the sat Nav , would prefer not having a female voice telling me what to do , I get enough of that at home. Was just wondering if there was a choice of voices.

Is it possible to update the maps? I am outside Japan and I bought a Japan model but the navigation does not work. The map doesn't load.

I have same issue, wireless carplay simply doesnt work on my 2024 qashqai
Is it possible to add MyPOIs to the new Xtrail 12.3 inch infotainment system as it was possible with the previous xtrail nissan connect?
You can adjust POIs listed and save your favorite locations.
