Takes me back to my spotting days Nige, seeing the tell tale smoke, then straining ones eyes to pick out any clue of the class of engine... "Oh no it's just another Black 5" we'd say!

Was the Class 47 Doing anything (apart from adding 117 tonnes to the weight on the 'Black 5's drawbar)? An awesome sound symphony from a locomotive being worked hard but well handled!!
