Some purr from the JF. After 2 cuts now with the 215 on her is consumption easier than the 6930 on the JF? Couple of PTO guards need fixing over the winter too. The square baler and the JF. #FarmSafety.
Immaculate farming against hard weather conditions, not much stem - hope you get the haylage, I'll eat my cap if it's hay but it might come good, it needs to if only to see the Davey rowing
The raised walls on the pit doing the job this year gerry plenty silage in with plenty room for more if needed .it horrible that you have to fight the weather but everyone the same .another great video.
Can't ask for much more than getting it all done in the one day with your own gear. JF runs a treat behind the merger and the 215 seems to have enough torque to keep the revs up even through any little lumps even in the 1000 speed. 👍👍
Great to see you got the silage in dry Gerry, hope the weather improves and you get the rest of the harvest sorted. Hard to see the weather improving enough for the hay tho. The wrapper will be in action I think… 👍🏻
Good footage Gerry. My Dad was watching though and wasn’t impressed by one thing. “Jesus why do them boys not lift those headlands first instead of tramping the crap outta them?” 😂. No pleasing the Oul boy 😂😂
I usually always lift headlands first but with rain forecast I was trying to get as much lifted in middle as I could. Headlands are slower going. 2 of the 4 fields were lifted headlands first. Tell him to rest easy. Nothing was contaminated and all got lifted fine 😂
Lift the headlands first in most cases. Was trying to get as much of the main part of field done first as was rain forecast. Lifting headlands is slow work, I did t lift any wet areas of that fields until headlands was done.
Great work Gerry coming from a 74 yr old Tyrone lady. I was born on a dairy farm. I enjoyed farming life its still in my blood. ❤
That 360 camera is class really get great footage. Good to see ya getting it in👍
Great stuff. I would watch the grouping all day long 💪
You have some great equipment for your size of farm Gerry , well maintained and up to the job , a pleasure to see you using them .
Cracking video. Great to get the second done. Everything worked like a well oiled machine

Another great video Gerry nice to see the 3650 working 👍👍👍🦌🦌🦌

Nice purr off that 6930 going after the harvester at the end of the row.

Great stuff Gerry, the pit looks good and full. All set for feeding out during the winter 👍🏼
The 3650 looks the right job on the silage trailer.
Great video Gerry 👏🏻👏🏻
3650 looks good
Nice one Gerry

Yea it was good going just under 40 acres from 8am til 7.30 . Should been finished around 6 if we had 3 tractors carting all day
Brilliant video Gerard Machinery is a credit to you both

Hard to beat it
Excellent video Gerry 👌 equipment was really firing on all cylinders an got the job done 💪💪 good luck with the grain harvest
Great video Gerry a happy man getting that all in good job 👌
Glad you got into 2nd cut with so much rain that you have had.
Great stuff 👍
Great Video Gerry, would you think of putting a shoot extension on the JF ? make it easier to lift those headlands
Tidy out fit there ,good video good content
What sort of hours have you on the big deere now
DEUTZ MIGHT BE GREEN,but it's no Deere😀
What width rows are you picking up with jf?
will u eventually go front an back mowers on the 215 gerry?
Have you ever thought about a chute extension for the harvester?
Great to have the second cut in the pit Gerry. What deutz did we miss out on?? Will we get a chance to see it again??
It’s like a 6-160 I think 1995. Yes it’ll be back next year.
Hi , why is the wheat tipped up outside? Surely with the Irish rain it would be damaged.
Great video 😊
Thanks joe
Where do you get your music form for your UA-cam video?
Job well done Gerry. You can't beat having your own gear, you did very little damage to the ground.
Great to get the silage in before it got to strong. I'm looking for straw and hay to buy if you have any for sale Gerry?
Nice outfit Gerry why not pick up headlands first to avoid driving over the grass
Great job Gerry
Been tough year to try get second cut in dry
Have ye ever thought of getting a front mower and just send the one tractor out mowing ?
is that first field not a 3rd cut 😁
Technically yes 😂😂
Come on now jerry time for a 6950 im going to keep saying it britains models has a 4450 euro spec coming out to
Will there be a front mower on the 6215 next year?
Great video.
How come you don’t pick up the two headland rows first and avoid driving on it?

@@gerry6420 thanks for the explanation. Tough year for all farmers.
Love the videos
We’re you putting a bit more power to the JF this time seemed to be singing!
