If you are joining a Zoom meeting that someone else is setting up, you could download the Zoom app now. Then 5-10 minutes before the meeting is to happen, you can use the invitation information they send to join. Good luck with your interview!
Nice video! What do I do if I have to tend to an errand or go on a break, how do I get off and come back?
You can either leave the meeting and then rejoin the same way you joined originally or you can mute yourself and turn off your video during your time away.

There are times when a phone call is better. I would use Zoom for one to one calls when there is something I want to share visually or I want to record the information.

Hi Jeremy, If the Zoom invitation provided by the host has a phone number to call in, you can call directly (like any other call) from any phone. You will hear what is said but not see anything shared. Not all Zoom calls provide this option. It depends on the way that the Zoom meeting is set up and the Zoom account used by the host.
