I am actually pleasantly surprised Hurt took this - Tea is a player who's incredibly capable at camping with Pac-Man. I assumed that he would already know how to handle players who do this, but I guess he wasn't comfortable playing against Hurt's game plan.
not all zoners are made equal lol. kazuya has noticeable weaknesses against snake because 1. he struggles to get in 2. has no disjoints only a couple invincible aerials 3. no true 0 to deaths because of grenades 4. it’s harder for the kazuya player to maintain composure, because the kazuya is working a lot harder to get in towards snake compared to snake who just has to stick to the same flow chart of throwing grenades and keeping his distance. Hence why tea played well during the beginning and became really impatient near the end
This set is a whole 3-credit-hour university class. You can slow it down to 0.25x speed and there's still a decision happening every second by both players, especially in those last-hit scenarios. It's unreal how much is going on in the mental battle between these two.
That second game was one of the sickest things I've ever seen in this tournament, if only because of the musical choice. 😎 And the sick comeback from Hurt. 👍
dang, watching this set had me impressed with hurt's gameplan of keeping nade between him and tea and using it masterfully. It made it difficult for tea to get anything significant started or to get a kill. I do think Tea could've maybe tried to force his way in on the moments hurt was cooking his nade or try reflecting it but hurt was checking the dashes with dtilt sometimes so I can see why he was playing cautious around it. Especially with hurt's general movement exploiting kazuya's flaws of weaker/risk reward for any FH antiairs. (pay attention to how little value tea got from hitting his aerials vs hurt's platform movement.)
I play against friends at first i played kirby and won like 33% then i switched to steve and won like 80% but i felt dirty about it so ive tried other like sephiroth and now i main snake i just live his moves but hes hard i win like 50% with him id say
6:28 the most tea thing ive ever seen

I can't understand a thing snake is doing
😂
Snake constantly uses b reverse on his neutral and down b to mix up his movement, because of this it seems very confusing
Exploding!
@@bryankopkin6869 boom boom 🤯
snake is using explosions to control different parts of the map.
hes also camping

Who is more broken? Kazuya or Steve
Is that even a question?
Its Steve no doubt
💀 wouldve been more debate if you said Sonic. Even then I still think Steve
"silly billy! silly me!"
Can anyone tell me what happened in the last stock in game 3?
tea picked up a grenade on his way down hoping to throw it back but he got hit with the dash attack and then the grenade exploded
ピタゴラスイッチ♪
How did Tea die on the very last stock? Was there C4 somewhere?
Yes, Hurt was consistently placing it on the edge of the platform

i love seeing kazuya lose
tea's champ is OP
Remember, losing as Kazuya is a choice

Snake does competently against Kazuya though. He might actually just win the matchup
Kazuya hella over rated
And there’s still people crying for a ban…
Nah Kazuya's insane

Snake does well against kazuya. One of his most difficult matchups imo
People overrate that character. He is top tier no doubt but he isn't top 2 or top 10 as people say
