My 15 year old girl loves history and is also a big fan of Sabaton, i can see why! She made me appreciate Sabaton even more, so much lessons still to learn for me !
The beginning of Pilecki's journey to the concentration camp was literally Russian roulette with a 6-shot gun with 5 bullets inside. He could have died on the spot. He could have been killed on the way. He may have been sent to a group of people to be shot the next day in response to a resistance movement. He could have been sent to a Gestapo prison, where he would have been tortured and asked if he knew anything about the resistance movement. He could have been sent to another camp in Germany. And he would never come back from there.
yeah, Sabaton really can play havoc with your emotions using history
What a story it is. How dedicated can someone be to make a difference. Great reation as always✌️
A track to follow up on this would be their song The Final Solution.
Yes för sure
One of my favorite Sabaton songs.
back in the 90s, it was mandatory for senior classes in Germany to visit a KZ Memorial. We visited Buchenwald Camp near the city of Weimar. Its was eerie...walking the ground where people did the worst to other human beeings....just eerie....how could people today think a fascist government would be a good thing?
Thank You 😊Witold Pilecki my HERO ❤
Believe me Highly... people are capable of doing far worse things. In 1994 i served in Rwanda as a UN observer and what i witnessed haunts me until today. Good you show the stories of heroes. Tnx.
Survival of the fittest and devious to stay alive. Hence the statement after the next (hopefully not) world war. ENTER RATKIND. this is what Tuoumas wrote in their song. He greatest show on earth. You could almost envisage that happening. Scary thought. Dave south Africa.
All this horror was born in German minds.
Human minds
Reaction suggestion for the next one should be *sabaton history - first soldier* its about a french hero from ww1
Yes how ?
Auschwitz-Birkenau, The horrific story of humanity turned into inhumanity. Lest we forget!👴😞
There will be no Hollywood movie... becaues HE WAS POLISH
GERMANS not nazis!
