I love escargot, I tried it for the first time on my honeymoon in London. That was the most elaborate thing we did on our honeymoon and my then brother in law cooked it lol.
They got most of them, you can see a few still going around. I think they should have gotten all of them since I'm sure it has happened more than once that not all of the tower falls into the hole.
