You really shouldn't have the flattop chain on there. Supposedly the sram flattop chain has different size rollers only compatible with the newer SRAM road xdr cassettes. I doubt that ztto cassette is using the new roller profile. It's probably going to work ok but could wear faster, maybe cause other issues I've never actually seen anyone test one. I'd use a SRAM 12 speed eagle chain or a Shimano or other brand.
Thanks for the info, it was literally the only one available at the time so I went for it. I guess it's a good test to see but I'll likely swap it out 👍🏼 - cheers for commenting
Beautiful bike, mate. Next bike has to be steel one. I checked many videos and everyone said that feeling of the steel bike is the best ever. Electronic eRX Ltwoo Groupset is coming too therefore you have planty of work to do. We'll keep pushing the like button. 😁
I am 67 I have raced as a Junior and Amateur and the continued training on low level I have bikes in steel, Alu, Carbon and Titanium the main advantage of metal frame is that they are not so delicate if you transport then (Howe et à Masi Gran Criterium got a bump through transport with french railway 1985 (at that Time you were forced to give it to transport) in riding I don’t see much of difference
Thanks you... good to hear you are enjoying the videos. I have a few builds planned but will likely do a variety this year. A steel rem brake bike.. that will certainly cause a stir haha
great series, hope you will provide a fair "user" review after riding it for some miles, the good and bad, riding feelings, reliability...ect.... because for those who can't afford 2 or 3 bikes, this one look like a good "do it all" frameset.
Those EC90 saddles look good but are hideously firm and Gravel kings have always been a pain to fit but are great once installed. In general rule of thumb terms, no bike is straight forward to build "there's always something".
Did she really say it looks really good at the end with a beautiful smile 🤔? Another great video Mr J. Now to get it on the road for a 100miler test run 😏. Catch up soon and keep those videos rolling innnnnnnnnn... #BigPStyle2023✊🏿
Love your format! I think I'll attempt one myself, probably would go for a rim brake 105 groupset though, the value to price ratio is insane and I don't mind rim brakes.
I've built my first road bike using 105 rim groupset and used time frame. With decent 1200g chinese carbon wheels total weight is under 6.8kg. And total price is below $2000. I'm super happy. My only complaint is handlebars. I'd like something like coefficient instead. But the price is too steep.
@@5gvaccinator343 - Yeah those coefficient bars are sweet but when you see the price, it makes you ill. A little tilt on the brake levers matching your shoulder width can make you forget about all that though. Worked for me. Your Time frame matched with the 105 rim groupset sounds awesome!
I don't know, but I see videos like that, extremely detailed, talking about one difficulty or another in the assembly, in the adjustment and that these are situations that also happen with famous brands... but with famous brands, the videos out there are always cute, with relaxing music and titles like: dream bulding... but still, videos like yours are very valid because they promote the products, test them, point out flaws, errors and good things! Deep down, it seems to me that everyone is somehow trying to discredit non-traditional products... the only way to have new products, more accessible or not, is for new brands to invest, correct mistakes and keep investing... SRAM recently launched its new group, I saw several channels saying that they buried shimano... in the end that's it, particular taste prevails, particular opinion... all products are good or can be improved! What is the unbelievable difference between a dura-ace and a 105? A really absurd difference? Even a shimano dealer will talk, just the weight of the product... Sorry for my terrible English...
The "dream build" videos you're talking about are always a short glimpse of a pro mechanic building 10th identical bike in a row for a team, with tools beyond your wildest dreams. Absolutely incomparable with videos from Jourdain's garage.
I'll hopefully be using some "well known" components in future builds and I'll give them the same treatment as the AliExpress components. The only thing stopping me at the moment is price. 👍🏼
Do you think this build is useable for a cyclocross season. I’m a cross country racer and i don’t want to be national champ in cx just to do some race in the winter
Nice entertaining tinkering. But your logic is sometimes very bad, not only in this Video. Why do you think that not getting all gears in the dry workshop to count for will be a problem tonsolve on the fly...you like to torture yourself. Check hanger alignment maybe...or the indexing is crap. Or you messed up the Limit screws adjustments...who knows. Or the issues with the front deraileur...again not only in this build. Cheers
You cheated bro, you didn't torque the seat rails on the new bike seat. You think we're just going to forget about it after this saga? Also, you didn't even grace us with an inaugural ride at completion. Milking clicks on this saga is fine but the rule is once completed, maiden voyage no matter how short and a departure comment. Bon Voyage and hope this thing doesn't explode like the Titanic. Personally, I would like to have seen your adjustment on the big (low) gear. But I know you can't have everything.
Don't see any problems. All the minor issues are user errors.

Yep was going to say this. Might also improve shifting with a Shimano compatible 12 speed chain.
Like that cable tightness tip for the RD
Glad it was helpful!

Haha... Good to hear from you! I'll keep the videos rolling 👌🏼
Bike looks great! Can’t wait to hear you thoughts after a few hundred Ks.

I've got that saddle and it's been great. Also in ny experience ZTTO is pretty good

Ive just watched all three of these vids, really enjoyed them. Nice one. 👍
Glad you enjoyed the build series!!

nice video again.Learned a lot from your videos. Look forward to the next one.
Awesome, glad they are helpful
Nice to see, that you constantly improve your mechanical skills and experience. .
Thank you very much!
Not aligning the tire logo to the valve stem is a crime. Just kidding. Enjoyed the build video. Hope I get to build one too.
Most tubeless Panaracer tires are symmetrical. When they aren't, the logo will only be on the drive side
Looking real spiffy👍👍👍
Rip them rubber tires and am excited for the review video!
You and me both!
Ive used slightly smaller tubes in bigger tires with no problem.
here in brasil they have a lot of problems with that ec990 sadle, brakes it self of nowhere
You have tubeless rims and tires. Next video making this bike tubeless.
These were actually meant to be setup tubeless so you are spot on. Tubeless setup coming soon 👍🏼
Can you try Sava brand?
I've not seen them before. I'll check them out 👍🏽
I have that seat...its comfirtable for sure. But not the most durable. I've had to re glue it twice
are you going to cut his in the near future, to see the carbon inside??? nice looking bike ...
I'll be riding this one and giving it a full review 👍🏽

I'm not 100% sure to be honest. I'll be doing a long term review to see how it does in the long run 👍🏼
No weight?
Ridley or Trek based frame?
Does 11s crankset work well with 12s chain?
@@binitbob thank you for the answer!
How much did it cost at the end?
Full cost breakdown video coming soon. I need to add it all up and see 👍🏽
I cannot get out of my head that when they choose the name founded the word "rinascita" and somehow confused capitol i with lower l 😂
I want one wat size you have and how tall are you
I have a size 52 and I'm 176cm tall (5 foot 9 1/2)
