@jasonsmith530 It was mostly fights and there was a lot. But by 1999 yes... I worked at Cafe Casablanca/ Button South in Hallandale. One of our promoters Godfrey was shot and killed over a fight that started at the club. Months before. In 2000 I would help my buddy in South Beach at Vegas Caberet no fights in the club but always something on the strip or at another place. As a bouncer you are always thinking you get threatened almost every night.but how many are serious? Back in 1999 there was a shootout in a strip club in way south Miami those bouncers had bulletproof vests. So it has always been around but back then there were no camera phones.
I remember MB before there was SoBe. It was wonderful. Tourism was fine. Take it back to those days, please..instead of catering to the trash and thug life those clubs bring in.
Oh yea I loved the cocaine cowboys era..at any moment you can be caught in the middle of a gun fight…ahhh Time magazine paradise lost what a time to be alive.
because when you release a general description, then they get 1000 of calls, its takes resources way from efficient meant of finding the killer. clearly you watch too many movies
As a former bouncer of 10 years 1995 2005 that was always my biggest fear. It sucks that someone had to lose their life.
Was it as bad back then?
