The cold and dreary description of Cleveland made me homesick! Combat boots are pretty timeless - I am wondering if it is platform combat boots are on their way out. They're cute, but I want something that will last me a while and platforms are a style that will inevitably fall in and out of fashion. The Chelseas are cute, but I don't think they're for everyone.
Are you from Cleveland? Think of trends like popularity. I never wore combat boots until they were trendy or popular a few years ago bc they don’t really match my style. While combat boots will always be around they just aren’t as trendy this year. I find them to be too clunky.
Alot of perps are saying biler boots are in. I find them to be too heavy and masculine since Im on the prtite side but who knows? Maybe I just havent seen a pair I really like yet.
I love my platform gym shoes and combat boots, and would never consider abandoning them in response to this video. Ridiculous to think that these "trend influencers" believe they have the power to tell people what shoes to wear. Actually, I believe the dress that this woman is wearing is out of style, I wouldn't wear ballet flats or "chunky heeled mules," and I rate the overall advice in this video as -----> ❌️😊
I don't think anyone should spend a lot of money on super trendy items. As far as the mesh shoe trend goes, I don't particularly like the ones that you have shown because the fishnet is too large. I think if it's a tighter woven mesh, it looks much better.
Thought it was the other way around, Americans wearing sneakers everywhere , Europeans always point out American tourist for wearing sneakers everywhere they went.
I find mules to be annoying always coming off if Im going up and down the stairs. I have two pair that I use for house slippers. They're Bruno Magli so I cant part with them.
Normal people don't follow these trends. This is herd mentality of influencers. I was at neiman Marcus and there were lots of people trying on Golden Goose sneakers. As far as the crazy super chunky gym shoes - normal people didn't fall for that either 😂 - no on fishnet flats too.
The ballet flats you said aren’t “in” are actually very in! I keep seeing them a lot, I think it’s how you wear them. Be careful not buying things just cause it’s “new” just learn how to style things properly.
Ballet flats are very on trend right now. The pointed ones and almond shaped ones are trendier than the old school rounded ones but get the one that works best for you!

Thankfully I don’t follow trend, I just wear what I like.
Nice!
I enjoy wearing my platform sneakers and my AirForce. Keeping them both 😊
🥰🥰
Chelsea boots are too hard to get on and off. So I will stick to the combat boots.
I’ve noticed if there is a stretchy fabric on the side they are much easier. However, wear what makes you feel confident 😀
I’m seeing chunky boots/shoes everywhere, except maybe in sneakers. Combat boots are never go out of style.
@@atldawn2 Combat boots were HUGE the last few years. They are still around just not as on trend as they once were.
That is so true I only have one pair in black and thankfully it has a tab in the back to help put it on.
OMG yesssss. But once on, they look amazing
great video, good pics and comparisons. I was searching for fall trends in sneakers & flats and really liked your suggestions. love your dress too!
So glad it was helpful!! 😀😀
OMG you're so funny! Chanel ballet flats are out but fishnet flats are in for the fall! Fishnet flats are gaudy and I like my feet to be warm and dry.
That’s exactly why I don’t do trends

my taupe Chelseas are not super high.
I recently purchased a pair of ballet flats from Reformation Barbara Ballerina flat, a little pricy but gorgeous 😍 😊❤
ohhh I love reformation! I will check those out- thanks for sharing 😀
Love this video!!! What size did you get in the Prada Chelsea boots? We are the same size 😊
6.5!
lol I just been seeing so many cool combat boots ONLINE designer …. Definitely ALWAYS IN STYLE ❤
They aren’t as on trend as they were a few years ago. But wear what you love!
I do like those white mules youre wearing, they do have that Gucci vibe. If they were slingbacks I would say SOLD!
👏👏

Good video - please note, when discussing the fishnet flats, the word is “emblem” not “em-bah-lom” 😘

No need to be rude, some would say your application of black eyeliner is out of style and ❌😘

Monolo Blahniq mules 🥰🥰
Will have to look at those 😀

Luckily there are tons of fishnet options out there so everyone can find one that works for them!

When I was in Japan they wore sneakers with everything. They had cool sneakers not just gym sneakers.
I will wear what I have, which are more classic stuff, anyway.
Sounds good!

You may like loafers! They have a similar vibe but with a back
Never liked the golden goose sneakers

Square toe is actually more in fashion now.
Mesh flats do not make any foot look attractive. And definitely not for fall when it starts to get chilly
Depends where you live. It’s still very hot in the south right now.
They look like shower shoes.
Yuk😝... Amazon 👎💩
