In the same year, she transferred the building of the new plant to Daimler and produced the 1000th gas truck.
In 2020, with the support of the government of Tatarstan, a 5G zone was created on the territory of Kamaz, new models of cars and electric vehicles were presented. In 2021, new K5 models were released, a mining dump truck was introduced and the development of hydrogen technology began.
In 2022, the company launched the Compass light commercial vehicle and developed an unmanned dump truck
KamAZ ranks 14th in the world in the production of heavy trucks and has approximately 33% market share in Russia. Kamaz products are exported to 43 countries, and has a network of authorized dealers around the world.
