The guns are fake - dummy, empty receiver. US law does allow for legal machine gun ownership but registered examples sell for over $20,000 which is way too expensive. Lower priced semi-automatic reproductions do exist, as well as fake propane guns that produce muzzle flash, but the CAF organization does not allow anything but fake guns in the planes. Some other flying museums in the US do have firing guns, search for "collins foundation bomber training camp" on here for some videos.
