Hey Professor Wickham, is there a way to use mastercam to broach in the mill? I want to use a single .375 broach for a keyway, from center of ID to end of keyway is .770 and or from edge of Id to end of keyway is .172. I want to take 0.002 per step over. Id of hole is 1.252 without keyway cutout. Hope you can help much appreciated.

I am not sure about this, any broaching I have done has either been with normal keyway broaches, shaper, or wire edm.
4:28 afaik Heidenhain has 3D compensation, but i dont know if it can do simultaneous 5 axis 3D compensation
