You can't mix vinegar and baking soda - they cancel each other out (acid and base).

Carissa, regarding the drips on the walls, check your ventilation in your girls bathroom! You may need to clean the fan and the duct or replace it with a higher CFM than what you have- excess humidity from baths or showers usually causes those drips and a lot has to do with the CFM of your bathroom exhaust fan.

For the bottom of your pans I would recommend Scrub Daddy Power Paste. Another content creator had the same type of pan and a similar issue as you, and with this product she was easily able to make it look brand new again.

I’m hoping watching this will give me the inspiration I need to do my home. I clean my fans maybe every 2 months. I keep my ceiling fans on year round for air flow I switch between summer and winter mode. I also leave my windows open most of year and it’s one of the jobs I’m not a fan off.
My kids have been taking turns being sick so last weekend was my deep clean. This weekend I’m doing a basic refresh. I love watching your videos on the weekend to get me going. Looking fwd to more uploads. Happy cleaning!

Love watching your videos! They give me motivation and decorating ideas. I recommend keeping the bathroom vanity cabinet if it works for you. Vanities are so expensive right now and can be a bear removing the old ones.Eight months ago, I find the one I wanted from Lowe's half-off ($165) and now it's almost $500. My Dad and I just installed it last month. (Whole house renovation brining it from 1983 to 2023 - long story). Bathrooms are my last project -replacing a coffin-sized shower and the tile in a tub/shower. Based on the quotes I'm receiving, I'm might have to do it myself. All the best!
Thanks for the advice!! Vanities are SO expensive. We swapped the counter at our old house and that worked out well for us. I’ll definitely look into how easy that would be for this bathroom.

Try bar keepers friend on bottom of pans. I recently restored my pans and it works way better than the pink stuff!

I had to pause the video just to comment a little tip… when applying the pink stuff to the bottom of the pans/pots make sure it’s a pasty consistency and not watered down. I let mine sit overnight but that’s not necessary maybe an hour or two after applying you can use some elbow grease and it’ll look brand new! I hope this helps anyone because I’m obsessed with that product.

I remember the brand O-Cedar here when I was growing up in the UK back in the 50s - they made mops and floor polish, but I don't think it's been around here since the 60s. It was just a blast from the past. 😊

Totally relate to you, deep cleaning my kitchen whilst you're on. I'm completely shocked how gross my kitchen as become within a week. As for laundry yes 1 usually 2 loads a day, it never ever ends. Mum life huh. 😀✌👏 Onwards and upwards 😉😁💖

To clean the brown stains on the bottom of the pan- Spray with oven cleaner and cover with Saran wrap to keep from drying out. Let sit for a few hours and wash off, good as new! 👍🙃

Be careful. It will take the crud off but it will also take the enamel paint off?! Read the care instructions first.
I live in Holland, (as far as I know) we don't have garbage disposals in our sinks, it gives me such satisfaction to see all those big chunks going in there👌 (things like rice I would dump in the toilet)

The pink stuff smells like Lipton iced tea powder that they used to sell in huge yellow buckets back in the day 😂
Carissa, try really fine, 800 or above grit wet/dry sandpaper on the bottoms of those pots and pans. Rub the sandpaper under running water until the bottoms are clean. I use this method with my vintage copper bottom Revere Ware set that I picked up second hand. The cooking marks on the bottom were terrible and nothing worked until I learned about using the very fine grit wet/dry sandpaper. I use 1,000 grit and it took off all the marks left from cooking.

Great video! I don't know if anyone has ever told you, but the cords for the blinds in your bedroom can be a strangulation hazard for little ones like Britton. They sell things to tuck them up out of the way if you choose to use them. No judgment, you're a great mama ❤️

Do you use all purpose cleaners in your mirrors? (That’s what it looked like in the bedroom) does that not leave marks? The smell of windex (or any strong smell) gives me a headache so I’ve been looking for an alternative way to clean windows and mirrors 😅

It is my understanding that Spring Cleaning is a very old homemaker’s tradition that when the weather is warm enough to open windows, you freshen up the house after a long winter of closed windows and being cooped up indoors.
Plus the sun shows more dirt. 😂 So you HAVE to clean.
