- Subwoofer break in - Stepped low frequency notes for 4 hours and 40 minutes.
This audio test file tops out at a 100Hz and goes all the way down to 20Hz on the low note, in a stepped sequence.
Hope you found it useful!
Works great on my Technics earbuds. Not kidding.
Excellent for breaking in my Hifiman HE400SE headphones!!!
Thank you! Very useful, except for the buzzer at the end which sounds like something broke in the audio system. Other than that it is great!
Oh, this is not in the original file, must have happened in the UA-cam compresson stage. Thanks for letting me know!
@@audiotestfiles2313 There is no buzzer. It does appear that something has broken in his equipment
My subs frequency range starts from 38Hz . Will a low frequncy of 20hz in this audio damage the subs during break in ?
- If the sub is a sealed model : No
- If the sub ported : No and yes, if its a commercial product there is no problem because of built in highpass filter, but if this is a DIY make sure to set a highpass or this can damage the sub by over excurction
@@BihannicGurvanonly if you have no subsonic filter and it's over powered aka over excursion
I ran it on my GRS 8SW-4 for two hours. I ran my amp volume up to xmech and bumped the bass level down till it cleared up past clipping. I was running a high pass @ 27hZ because it was running in Free air. Broke in quite nicely.
