- 🎨 Mindful Drawing Course!: jeyram.art/min...
In the Mindful Drawing Course we will learn intuitive drawing which is a process that saved me from perfectionism. I wish someone had taught me this way of drawing when I was a beginner because it would have made my artistic journey much easier
In this video lesson I discuss one of the main factors for financial success as an artist. This will be a controversial take because it isn't a popular thing to talk about but I think it's important for us to remember that luck plays a huge role.
I’ll contribute to the fire 🔥🔥🔥I totally agree with your main point and I think it’s something we all can be blind to in all parts of our lives. I’ve found people get very defensive when you try to highlight how something in their upbringing likely had a big part in allowing their hard work to pay off. It’s like all they hear is “you didn’t work hard, and so don’t deserve your success.”
Your artsyle is sooo cool, intricate, and just right up my alley 🤩 i'm glad the algorithm suggested me this video because i got to discover your account and art. I also found this video very interesting and adds value to my mindset about art. It's been difficult to find new ideas and things to say about art on this app (maybe i just watched too many art videos lol.. but there could never be enough right 😆)
you just described determinism my friend
Very good point. I thought this would be clickbait but im glad i was wrong. I knew to a degree there was luck involved, but not as much as he's mentioning. You're right, almost everything that fell into place contributed to their luck. Ofc, in addition to hard work, since they still wouldn't get anywhere if they didnt do that. Its an odd relationship to condense but thanks for shedding light on it. But tbh not sure what to do now knowing that 😂. Hard work seems like its still required, but instead of blaming ourselves for lack of success, i guess we can blame luck haha. Nevertheless, fellow artists keep drawing, keep drawing what makes you happy and others who enjoy it will gather. Its better to make a business off something you actually like doing instead of following the trends and doing something you dont care about. Even if you get success, you have fans that like something you dont like.
I mean even being healthy or having your limbs intact to be able to draw can also be considered "luck". So what's the point here ? Hard work, good marketing skills, being able to connect to your audience and draw some of their requests, being able to record your drawing process and putting a lot of time etc...all these aspects do pay off in most cases.... that's a fact. It's your expectations and comparisons that get in your way of your success. Luck has nothing to do with this.
Hai ragione. Contano molto le persone che incontri. Infatti alla base di molte carriere artistiche ci sono incontri fortunati, anche quando si parte da situazioni disagiate. Altri pur essendo bravissimi questi incontri non li fanno mai.
I've been lucky, but I make my own luck.
DEAR GOD WHY IN HELL should anyone have tomsacrifice a lot to have siccess when this life is so hardand aad..surely you shouldn't have to sacrifice at all or not kuch and mostly enjoy it..right? Hope you can please respond. And what happened to learning about the nature of existence..im fucking sicl of thisblnlife..school isnt about learning in the end..which is horrible andnot right..And I don't think anyone shohld have to work hard unless it's nkstly fun and enjoyable..so how can we? Hope you can PLEASE PLEASE RESPOND.
In my place "artist" just share what they have, how many profits they make but not showing their art aanndd they only sell "class" that you can learn for free in yt
I mean not the real artist doing this
This reminds me of some really vile youtubers that would call people who don't work on art after work/school "lazy". But even outside of stuff like internet connection, time and energy, people who think it's all about effort clearly don't understand basic realities of market like supply and demand. Particularly those running art career youtube channels. Though I'm not sure if they are just stupid or are outright pyramid scheme scammers.
But it's not your fault and youbdont necessarily have to Be grateful for your situation sonce you disnt cause other ppl to be in third sorld countries..and what sacrifices have you had to make if Inmay ask and WHY WHY have to make them..coulsnt you have sicceeded without those sacrifices..isnt one lesson that we shouls be happy and do things that make you happy most lf the time and hedonism is mostly good?

Seems like you’re def canceled
hmmm...i disagree: not meritocracy and not luck...God is in complete control. the ability to work hard requires God...if you put all your faith in luck, then you miss a chance to be grateful to the Creator who made you and planned your life. you ignore an opportunity to ask Him what He intended for your career... "We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps." - Proverbs 16:9 "The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he brings low and he exalts" 1 Samuel 2:7 ❤❤
ahahaha
I'm sorry but what evidence is there god even exists. There is little to no valid evidence that he does.
I don’t often genuinely “laugh out loud” but goodness this comment made me do it. This guy knows what he’s talking about, you still sound very lost.
@leif1075 the evidence is everywhere...first there is a book, the Bible, written by over 40 men that mostly don't know each other and yet they write a cohesive story, then there are all the miracles recorded that had thousands sometimes millions of eye witnesses, then there is the human body that goes unco scious every night and the heart keeps beating, the lungs keep breathing, then there is Jesus the God-man who came to earth, lived a sinless life, is recorded in history, and many witnesses saw Him killed and yet He rose on the third day and spent FORTY days on earth afterward...hundreds of people saw Him alive after the crucifixion...11 of the 12 disciples witnessed Him alive after being murdered and placed in a tomb...and all their accounts of these events agree with each other....which is a miracle in itself....where have you ever heard more than 3 people tell the same story and don't contradict each other? then there are those who accept Jesus as God and receive the mind of God and hear His voice and receive information they couldn't have gotten anywhere else? on and on...those who don't see refuse to see
@ none of your rambling is proof of a god
