    I love Clio. I couldn't buy initiale paris in germany when I bought my car, but I had something called Edition One, sold just in the 1st year after the premiere. It's amazing. I bought it with manual and without leather, because I'm not a big fan of automatic gearboxes and leather polstering under my bum, but it's the only difference between mine and that in the review. My seats are from between the cheapest (which are also very good and comfy, just full velure) and the leather ones, so they have leather on sides and the head part, and a very cool looking, soft but sturdy, polstering (also there is no leather on the dashboard but it's very soft, nice to touch and has carbon-fiber like pattern). Everything else is the same and that car, man. The 100hp manual engine is surprisingly sporty, there are no problems with overtaking even uphil and it's very quiet. I drive 150km per day to my job and back home on mixed roads - first in hills, than highway, than in big city and I achieved 4,9L/100 fuel consumption with ease, without even switching on Eco Mode. I like to drive faster on the highway and on hilly, curvy roads though (that amazing steering makes it so fun) so my average consumption is arround 5,5L/100.
    They just killed the competition in that segment. Initiale Paris costs now 28 000 euro in Germany, without leather and with manual I payed for mine Edition One 23 500 with 3500 bonus due to "corona time", maybe because Renault in Germany wanted to lure more people to buy new cars in those hard times. So I literally gave 20 000 euros for that amazing peace of technology! I'm in love with that car.

    Its such a perfect car, very stylish, nice quakity interior, has aton of standard options, amazing to drive and its very safe and has that Charm, Vibe, Charachter than the Polo dosent have.
    I Drive a Limited 1.5 dci 100hp 2022 Clio in my driving school. Has lane keep asist but single zone AC and rear crank windows and the small touch screen but the clutch is so light and amazing to drive and very nippy.
    Great spec on this one and review! :D

    Just come across this video. This is the spec I wish the UK got but alas we did not. But, I can't complain, I own a 2021 Clio V TCe 100 CVT S Edition in Iron Blue, and I do love it. Great video btw!

    So 3 days from now, 2 years owning a Clio - got my Clio 4k down from original price, I am happy with it) Every time the noise bothers me - I remind myself that this is Clio!
    I love it. BOSE system rocks! Engine, with my insanity, kicks asses. Just yesterday I travelled about 730km in it, nobody got to overtake me. And my consumption was 5l/100km. The seats fit you, they are nice. This car is just too nice. P.S. I have the RS Line. And it sucks in the corners, judging after my C2 VTS.

      how are the rs seats? i got the normal one (intens package with some extras) and also 1.3 tce... There was rs package for 1k more but I hate the red stiching and so (i like the classy look more than sporty on any car) so just my preference... now maybe regreting because I suppose the seats are alot more comfy in the RS package.

    Really nice review...and your english is very good...I am planning to buy this 1,3 EDC Clio but here in Croatia we dont have this Initiale trim...did you drive a new Pug 208? I would like to know your opinion on driving feeling of Clio and 208. Thanks. Keep up with the good work.

    • @Pit-Stop
      @Pit-Stop  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you! Considering you are in Croatia, you could just pop over to Slovenia and buy one in that trim. Unless the taxes and import fees are too high. Unfortunately I haven't driven the new Peugeots, so I can't comment.

    How is the ride with these bigger wheels? Does it have also a different suspension setup due to this luxury trim? Btw I love the interior of the new Clio and in this trim I think Renault has nayled it. I am as speechless as you definitely 😂

    • @Pit-Stop
      @Pit-Stop  4 роки тому

      I don't believe the suspension is different. The wheels will always make a difference but I found the ride quite good, especially considering the short wheelbase.

    So where does the Initiale sit with the RS Line trim, is it the same but with more extras as standard for this trim level?

    How its the Tce 100 engine does it have enough power to overtake and go well on uphills?

    • @Pit-Stop
      @Pit-Stop  4 роки тому

      I did a preview of the Clio with the Tce 100 half a year ago or so. It was a spritely engine, no problems in traffic or going uphill. But it's definitely not on the same level as the 1.3.

      Yeah, I'm oldfashoned so I bought manual with 100 horse power and turbo and I have literally NO PROBLEM even overtaking uphills everything. The car with manual is much lighter so there is not much of a difference, maybe 10hp in real power output, between double clutched and a manual. It's amazing car.
