@@user-hd2xd6mb9b Haven't said anything. Please don't be paranoid. But fyi, the European style buildings at the Megaworld and the Plazuela de Iloilo are inspired by the old European style buildings at JMBasa and the Calle Real in the City Proper District. In fact, according to Bombo Radyo Philippines owner Mr. Rogelio Florete, who is also owner of Queen City Development Bank on Iloilo, he was inspired by the beautiful buildings in Spain , which of course , have inspired Ilonggos to build similarities in the century old buildings at JMBasa, such that upon his return to ILOILO, built the beautiful Plazuela de Iloilo Uno and Dos malls at Diversion Road. Indeed, the beautiful European style buildings at the Megaworld have been inspired by the buildings at JMBasa Street and the Calle Real at the City Proper District here in ILOILO CITY. So, if there is anything to be admired in the buildings at the Diversion Road and at the Megaworld, it's because the builders were inspired by the beautiful European style one hundred years old buildings at JMBasa Street and the Calle Real in the City Proper District. Watch out for the 33-storeys LA TERRANZA Towers at Plazoleta Gay in the City Proper District adjacent to the Calle Real heritage area at JMBasa Street. It has a very strong French/Spanish/Italian architectural design and uses the very expensive black Italian granite on its facade cladding on the first floor to the second or third floors, which will be allotted to a European design shopping mall. Now, please don't say everything is at the Diversion Road only. More new skyscrapers and highrises in the City Proper are forthcoming, except at the Calle Real area which will remain as heritage areas similar to the practice in Europe, in Spain , France, Italy, where strict heritage rules are enforced in the heritage areas. By the way, most Ilonggos are too busy earning a living they have no time to make gala-gala on the streets unlike in places, where there are plenty of jobless people whose habit is to make gala-gala in the streets. Ilonggos working at the Diversion and Megaworld areas often have cars, you'll notice this in the videos, and public transportation like airconditioned e-buses and taxicab fleets are plentiful in ILOILO, band there are no colorum cars unlike in other cities. So, vwho would want to make gala-gala when they are busy with their jobs inside the buildings and they have cars and e-buses and taxicab fleets plentiful to transport them? And yes, the Esplanades are very long, now more than 10kilometers long all over city, and more are currently being constructed to extend the coverage. Sunset Boulevard to Oton will be 4.5 kms, with Esplanades and biking lanes. The new Dongon Creek Esplanade and biking lanes is also 4.5kms, towards Jaro District. Practically the entire city and even the neighboring Oton will be linked. The entire Esplanades will total 20 kilometers. So, who wants to just stroll and jog only at Esplanade One when you have the entire new 20 kilometers total for your Esplanades? Visit ILOILO so that you can join in the fun!

You missed to try the famous and yummiest Jo-ann's Fishball at Plaza Molo (watch the Chui Show vlog) and Panaderia De Molo Est. 1872, probably the oldest existing bakery in the Philippines, a century old pasalubong, its delectable breads and cookies will surely take you back in time. Thank you for visiting the newly recognized UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy in the Philippines. Also known as Asia's City of Love and the original Queen City of the South.

Disagree. ILOILO CITY's vibe is so different from Cebu. ILOILO CITY has its own charm, more charming then Cebu, so much cleaner than Cebu. Iloilo has more parks and plazas then Cebu, Iloilo has it riverside Esplanades, and these are all well maintained. Iloilo has more Museums than Cebu. Iloilo is so much cleaner than Cebu. Iloilo may have lesser income and less highrises than Cebu, but the money in ILOILO is well spent by the ILOILO CITY Government in making Iloilo a more Livable City than Cebu. Pollution is non-existent and Iloilo City doesn't have the horrendous traffic of Cebu.
