- We take a nice weekend day in Indiana to solve our firewood storage issue. Using our endless supply of pallets, some scrap lumber and a lot of screws; we fabricated some very portable fire wood holders for next year.
I never thought there was so many ways to stack wood, you got a new subscriber and I hit the like button! I have some relatives who lived in Valparaiso, Indiana!! Great video brother! 👍
It's certainly a small world! Thanks! Multiple ways to stack it AND burn it! We will see you around the channel.
This is what I was thinking of doing as well - lots of videos for wood storage sheds that are way too much work/time. This is quick and easy
Agreed!
Perfect, I have been collecting pallets. I need to stack 4 full cords of wood. I going copy your process.
thk u sir
Really good Thank You
How did you make the sides stable on the bottom. Please comment back and let me know. 👌👍
"Toenailed" with screws. The braces on the 45 also help.
Needs a solid top on it to keep the rain off the "dry" wood.
That would help, but would make stacking more difficult. Could always lay some sheet metal on them once full. We typically put them in the barn in the late fall once they have dried all summer.

Glad to have you along for the ride! :)
love your work thank you i am making a wood rack
What size pallet do you need to build a storage container to store 1000 pieces of firewood?
Will the embroidered hats be available on your website anytime soon?
How much wood were you able to fit in each square/how many do you need to fit a full coard? (Not face coard)
Why not use a 4th pallet for a back wall in place of the braces?
Bob Grier that's a good idea, I might do that to mine.
@@ignoranceisnotatrend4669 Here's another trick. I use a swazall to take teh pallet apart or sometimes cut teh planking with a chain saw between the 2x's. I run the thru my table saw in 3/8" strips and cut them to size. Best kindling you'l ever use. It's already dry. Great for camping trips and pit pits.
