Too much gloss imo. Whaddoiknow tho. Always thought herringbone was a bad name though. Like a dove tail joint looks vaguely like a doves tail. But this looks nothing like herring, bone, or herringbone lol.
Hello Mike Johnson! Welcome to my channel! Yes, I see what you're saying. For a ferro rod handle, the gloss really doesn't go along with what it is and is used for. But, I do love shiny things. " looks nothing like herring, bone, or herringbone lol" ~Lol Mike one has to wonder why they named it herring, bone. It doesn't resemble the true herringbone pattern since it's not a full circle.
