I got my radio a few days ago and before I got started I thought I would see some videos about setup, I liked your video very much and I'm a little wizer on what everything dose. thank you so much for taking the time to make it.
I have several ham radios that I have set up in the past with issues reading or writing to the radio because of a com port not being found! I re installed the driver as the com port didn’t show up at first but after it was linked it was really easy to setup the list of repeaters I wanted to use in the Land Rover. I’m really happy with it and feel it was money well spent. Thanks again for your video 👍
A great in-depth review, thank you. I'm very much considering this radio for my car. I only wish it covered airband am frequencies but I suppose you can't ask for too much for the money. What antenna are you using?
CRT2000 (Anytone Apollo II) is a CB radio and SR-94HPC is a 10m HAM Radio. Anytone AT778 UV, Retevis RT95, Midland DBR2500 and CRT Micron are the same.
The reason your PWR button is not working "correctly" is because you are not locking in the power setting once you choose it. You lock it in by pressing the knob on the lower right side IN. Try it and see. That's the way it works in USA. I am presuming it would be the same in Deutschland.
Thank you Sir. I will try it out and mention it in my 2nd part of the RT95 video which will (hopefully) be published in the next weeks. mny tnx es 73 de DO1DDR
I like the RT95 but I ran into a dead end: I activated the power on password, expecting to be prompted to set a password. Instead it now ask me for a password I never set and the only function it now has is displaying "Please enter the password" which lets me enter 5 digits and no button seems to be an "enter" key. Anyone has a solution for this? TNX
@@reviewmirror Yes, but as i wrote there seems not to be any key that closes the entry. After entering the digits I pressed every button on the rig and the mike, but none of them got me to a "wrong password" or to a start of the rig :(

You can change the setting to where the knob will control the volume. I set mine that way. You need the programming software though
Thanks for letting me know. Will show that in the 2nd part. :-)
R u able to Rx airband after unlocking and using prog software?
Thx for info. At the end I see u run this radio from the power socket. Will the power socket wire handle radio at output of 25watts?
Sure, it can do 10A and it was not a problem.

Thank you. I am using a small Diamond 2m/70cm magnet antenna
Nice video, this model have swr meter?
Thanks, I think not, just Power and S-meter.

Sorry, what do you mean exactly? What do you want to do?
Very usefull, thank you.Can you show use how to prg to the computer ?
I have a part 2 in German.
what is the difference anytone at 778 uv / retevis rt 95 / CRT 2000 / SR-94HPC / DBR2500

Just fixing the buy this radios did not see a Rodger beep function that is absolutely a deal-breaker I really hate it cuz that's a nice-looking radio
Actually, for info, you can easily unblock the limiter mode on these to give you 136 - 174 Mhz and 400 - 490 Mhz.
OK, thank you.
Considering the national simplex calling frequency is 446.000 in the US, it makes little sense that the radio is limited to 440.000 out of the box...
Hi, do you get the programing cable whit the radio?
Nope, I took that one amzn.to/3R1vWlq
Recently installed this radio and accidentally flipped the screen, can't seem to get it back in the correct position. Any idea chaps?
7:28 FUNC + P1
@@reviewmirror Thank you, now corrected 👍
What to do about the heat that it makes ? Is the heat that it makes no problem ?
No prob so far.
Thanks
So when is the second part coming out
Not sure as I am quite busy. Any topics I should cover?
I would like to know how to program it and connecting a amplifier
Also you should cover the Anytone AT-D578UV III Pro DMR tri-band
@@TheDrakanMaster124 Sorry I do not own this device.
@@TheDrakanMaster124 Yes I will do the programming with and without the software. I do not own an amplifier.
Hi
Are there any good European made radio transmitters?

@@anthonys6140 you're welcome
how far distance can be reach by the radio ?
Depends on the band propagation, power output and antenna.
20-40 miles on average, with good antenna.

The only reason I ask is, I find the set complicated enough on the outside, without going inside!
It's not complicated. Tiny little rig for the car.
@@reviewmirror Can you tell me please if it can be set up without a pc?
where is part 2?
Not yet finished.
