      @@kay31339 My skin breaks out for every little thing. And too be honest, when I first started this toner, it happened. Then it stopped. I feel like people with sensitive skin always have an adjustment period. I’m on my second bottle.

    Toner is my favorite part of my skin care routine. A good set of toners is a game changer. But don't waste it by using a cotton pad, buy dry face masks and soak them with your favorite toner. 15mins and you're set.

      @DiG-54321of course! Your skin usually has multiple things going on at the same time in different spots. You have general toners which are preventing problems on the whole face, you put those on before. Then you have smaller or even sample size toners for problem areas which you put on after those larger size toners

      @SM-jg3wj 8 місяців тому

      Don’t use some by mi if you have sensitive skin. It will break you out. It has broken out a lot of people i know. It can be too strong as well for you if you are really new to exfoliating toners so if you wanna incorporate it in your routine, do a patch test and start using it by applying it only once a week and then on alternate days if you can tolerate it and then daily application. It can be a drying and can over exfoliate your skin. My personal experience with this toner wasn’t that great so switch to a more gentle one as recommended in this video- you can try the etude house one.

    What's the difference between dehydrated skin and dry

    • @sulives
      @sulives Рік тому +7

      Dry is a skin type i.e it lacks moisture and hydration.
      Whereas dehydration can be seen in oily and combination skin type as well.

    • @brumhelldah917
      @brumhelldah917 Рік тому +4

      Dehydration means there’s a lot of oil but not a lot of water which causes acne and oil buildup, but at the same time the skin just feels dry like flaky as well

    • @zainaw9108
      @zainaw9108 7 місяців тому +1

      Dehydrated skin doesn’t mean there’s a lot of oil. It just means that there’s less that 30% water in the upper layers of your skin making it tight and flakey. To remedy this you would need some exfoliating products to help your hydrating products get deeper into your skin

    • @zainaw9108
      @zainaw9108 7 місяців тому +1

      Dry skin is a skin type and is caused by genetics. It means the ph of your skin is too high so your skin doesn’t have enough oil also giving you patchy flakey skin. For this you need the ph of your products to be slightly lower and but you also want to abstain from using TOO much exfoliating products, having some would be beneficial/ necessary in your routine but using too much would worsen your dry skin, the same goes for dehydrated skin. Also use hydrating serums and toners.

    • @Anonymoose66G
      @Anonymoose66G 10 місяців тому

      I wouldn't worry to much about it, toners are unnecessary but if you wish to get one i'd get one that's gentle/soothing & hydrating, the oil is already eradicated by cleansing and you gain moisturization benefits from your moisturizer so that's why toners are seen as useless, people like them because they are easy to use and soothing. Get a toner with active ingredients so it is beneficial, Look for a water based toner with 2-5% salicylic acid/benzoyl Peroxide. If these ingredients are too irritable for you then there's alternative natural ingredients that are less irritable.

    • @TeleeFONE
      @TeleeFONE 5 місяців тому

      @@Anonymoose66G I don't agree with you, ever since I used toner, my skin is moist and plump, it hydrates my skin so much, something moisturisers can't do. Moisturisers only moisturises the outer layers of skin, where else toners seeps in deeper into the and gives more moist to the skin. Skin feels bouncier and healthier with toners.

      Depends on what skin issues you are addressing. If it's just hydration, any of these would work. But some products to consider are: T'iam Vita B5 (soothing and has peptides as well), Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha Essence (can double up as your daytime moisturizer, rich in antioxidants), and Celimax Dual Barrier (helps support your barrier with ceramides). For brightening, my favorite has always been the Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium (rich texture, with tranexamic and vit c derivatives)!
