True. But the 6 speed manual on these cars is god-awful. Feels like my 20 year old Ford focus' transmission. It sometimes doesn't go into gear for 1-2-3-R when it's cold. When warm it's usually fine. I may just have faulty transmission, don't know.
This is just a mild hybrid, so the electric motor only helps the internal combustion engine with a small amount of extra power (13hp/53Nm) in the low to mid rev range, depending on how much juice there's in the hybrid battery. It cannot move the car alone (like an EV mode in the Toyotas), but it's not insignificant either, the car is very torquey and responsive even at low revs.

Love manual transmission cars. But unfortunately most of the people buy automatic these days.
I get 6L/100kms in the diesel urban driving, have gotten 3.9L/100kms on a long highway trip
Refreshing! 👍😉

Guys write under this comment the average consumption that you have with the vitara.
I have 5.5l but I mostly commute between cities. In cities it's about 6.5.
do the side mirrors close/open electrically on this model?
yes they do in the GLX version. But it's not automatic, you need to press a button
No GLX
Suzuki Vitara GL+ Plus

mpg for this car?
Check the end of the video please
I only hear rumbling from the gas engine. When does the electric motor kick in?
It's some sort of mild-hybrib technology I think.
