My first time trying Nero (Cantine Paolini Gurgo Nero D'Avola 2019) was one of those genuinely exciting moments that made you want to do air kicks; to have had such an amazing wine at that price is, in an of itself, why we make a hobby (bordering on obsession) of sampling wines from all over.

Yeah, we're playing around with a slightly shorter format - just giving you guys the actual nuggets and minimal faff. Believe it or not, it takes a couple hours to film each episode! There's plenty left on the cutting floor!
@@wineforthepeople the banter for me makes a huge difference; you develop these characters that people tend to relate to..... Just look at wineking which is probably the largest wine channel... It's not just about an MW and a chap with 4 wine degrees blind tasting wine at different price points ( 1st growth Bordeaux) its also about some of the ridiculous stuff that comes out of Peter Kauffs mouth.....like I'm still waiting for Henry to hit a Chardonnay with no Malo and no oak to see if he picks it
Here €5.11 for the Nero But with that ridiculous price, I am wondering what working conditions the workers have 🤔 would love if that was more transparent. It would not be the first time people are exploited for the production of wine in southern Europe
