  • A business model is a combination of Processes that create, add and get value.
    A business model can be broken down into three main components:
    1) Value Creation,
    2) Value Delivery,
    3) Value Capture.
    These are the key elements that make up your company's business model.
    Value Creation process: This is where the value that you create for your customers comes from. It may be something as simple as offering a service or product at a low price to gain market share, or it could be something as complex as developing a new technology or developing a new way to produce goods or services for which there is no current substitute.
    Value Delivery process: This is where your customers get their value from you. Your value delivery process may involve providing all of the goods/services that they want, supplying them with what they need when they want it and delivering it on time according to their specifications.
    Value Capture process: This is where money flows through your business model from one part of it to another. It's like water flowing in a pipe-it flows from some place to another, but there are many different ways in which this can happen! Some examples include charging fees for access
