This sounds like Wizkid ft Chris Brown based on genre. I like that it was a true collaboration with both men having roughly equal bars. Musically, this sounds like it can easily fit into MIL Deluxe Album - same smooth Afrobeats style of WizKid with the signature basic melodies, moderate embellishment (somewhat stripped back production), and outro saxophone 6:02 ; just like you said, spaciousness for vocals to sit comfortably. The highlight for me was the harmonies 2:15 and Breezy speaking Nigerian Pidgin English and doing the accent 3:42. Overall texture is smooth and enhanced with their electronic vocals, plus that padded heavy drum bass-line 5:24 that keeps alternating between plain and reverbs every few seconds. Each time I listen to this song, I discover something new!!! If you listen closely, there’s even a faint metallic/cymbal sound with the bass.

Nah, because CB is better don't mean Drake isn't good on afrobeats too. You're forgetting he's had a lot of experience (but not as much as CB) Ojuelegba, One dance, Come closer, Fountains. Has drake delivered poorly on any of these features?
@@danieldaulie8980 Those songs don't contain Afrobeat elements except Ojuelegba and besides Drake was just rapping or singing. He wasn't really going with the flow of Afrobeat in it's entirety. You can't compare his sound to Chris Brown on an Afrobeat tune. Chris Brown sings more like an Afrobeat artiste compared to Drake.

Drake and co on the other hand, are very okay, they don't need to speak pidgin or sound Nigerian like Chris does. Chris been rocking with us since '13 so it's very normal for him to blend better
Beyoncé is queen on that joint .. she did a whole black is king and she knocked it out the park. Even made creative beautiful portrayal of blackness Africa and colours .. Chris nor drake haven’t done such projects, Chris is great but drake just leech off successful artists like Wizkid then tems ..
@@janetb6413 How is Drake a leech? He pays respect to everyone/culture he collaborates with. From Jamaica to Nigeria and UK. He don't just bite from the sound and run with it, he let these guys share the stage with him, he fts the youngins from each demographic. Drake is very respectul and that's why he's respected in the industry. It's always ya'll who look from the screens who think like this, none of his colleagues do cause they know what he does behind the cameras.

Nah! Chris is just good at letting people shine on his projects. He did the same with Lower Body ft. Davido. Chris and Wiz have been friends 15 years plus so it could be a 50/50 collaboration on music and lyric choice.
