That black Monsoon looks killer and of course you make it sound amazing. Lots of great stuff coming from Leo Jaymz.
Just bought one of these. I already have the Leo Jaymz LP Single Cut and my luthier was completely impressed by the craftsmanship of it as he set it up for me. So much so he had to look it up and then was even more impressed by the price. It barely required any set up at all to begin with and was near perfect. He just made some small adjustments. It didn't even need new strings. I'm having a blast playing on it but got this so I could have a dedicated drop C guitar for darker sounds and shredding/tapping. Totally excited. The LP is perfect I'm sure the Monsoon will not disappoint either.
I love the look of this guitar, the black with gold hardware, and the cream colored pickups.... it's just a really sharp looking guitar. I may have to get this one.
I watched your review on the Purple Mansoon , and Ordered One , now the Guitar itself is Awesome, but it came to me Dusty and Totally Out of Tune , the action was Unbelievably High, After Setting it up, this Guitar is Bad ass , love these Pickups ,Love Your Channel , Rock On !!!!!

Beautiful guitars, and very affordable. I like having a tone knob, especially for clean/cleanish tones which can sound too thin without being able to dial back the trebles some.
Damn it, Max. Stop it with these awesome looking and sounding entry level guitars. I am desperate for one but just don't have any free cash at the moment.
Seriously, though, that looks amazing. I think I like the blue one better, but that black with gold hardware does look killer. And it sounds great.
The blue and the black are slightly different. I have both. The black has a slightly thicker neck, not much, just a little. The gold definitely has better hardware as far as the tuners and switches. Both play great! Can't beat the price. No issues at all with either right out of the box. Just new set of 9's put on both.

Looks great. I think I would add black covers over the pickups, is all.
I liked it but had to change the nut and I added locking tuners, EMG 70 and shorter set screws for the bridge stock was too long
my strings are starting to get stuck in the nut when i bend, i hate that.. im gonna try some nut sauce and see if that fixes it. i also put in shorter saddle screws. and wilkinson ez-lok 19:1 tuners(left hand) for reverse headstock.

I would so swap the pickups to some gold plate cover units from Guitar Fetish, and add in a Seymour Duncan Active Blackouts Preamp. This guitar is a prime candidate for such a mod setup, along with the Tempest.

Nice to know that " the bald shredder " had something to do with the build. Didn't know that when I watched his reviews because that is clearly a conflict of interest!
I'm more of a fan of medium output pickups, or vintage output pickups in the 7 to 9 kOhms impedance range with an active preamp.
i have the blue one, the neck profiles is weird. it kinda has a flat spot on the back. im thinking about taking a radius sanding block to the back of the neck to get rid of that flat spot

I'm not even a shredder...more of a country, chicken pickin' player, but I love the way this looks and plays so much I might buy it and give it a try during a Merle Haggard song. Anything that increases my speed and accuracy can't be bad.

i just got that guitar few days ago.. mine came with the pickup screws barely hanging on
you need to get your hands on the firefly john 5 ghost fender inspired telecaster. the fender john 5 ghost tele is a limited run expensive guitar. the firefly inspired by fender is affordable.

I had a Leo Jaymz flag guitar. It was not bad. Of course, I upgraded parts on it.

Love the frets (SS, Rounded), angled headstock (no one needs the stupid string trees in the 21st), reverse headstock tickles me.
Need to fix the heel (what the hell is it with so much wood on the neck heel), lack of locking tuners, where the frack is the goddamn tone knob??? (who in their right mind operates an axe without a tone knob, don't let these clowns fool you. The tone knob is like a first gear on an automobile. It is a prerequisite, not an elective)
Inflation is down 20%, and the price needs to reflect that. I'll wait until the price hits $150.

Pickups don't have a good low end....very thin and nasal.
That's why it needs a tone control.
Sounds great at high gain, sounds like ass at low gain 😂
Might be amusing to hand one of those to a jazz guitarist who compulsively makes meaningless tweaks to the tone knob every 30 seconds or so.
