Funny, that there's only 2 targaryens left and they are both called aegon. Technically at the start of GOT there was 6 Targaryens: Viserys Targaryen Daenerys Targaryen Aemond Targeryen (nights watch) Aegon Targaryen aka Jon Snow Aegon Targaryen aka griff ? Targaryen aka Brynden rivers. The last one I'm unsure of but he's the old white three eyed raven who was stuck in a tree. That whole "daenerys was the last dragon" thing was a good laugh. Also, I know the velaryons are still kicking about however their position in society had been reduced. And they have dragon blood too thanks to inbreeding with the Targaryens. In HOTD, the only remaining velaryons were daemons and laenas children. They had targaryen blood and are set to marry rhaenerya targaryens kids so therefore they also might have the ability to ride dragons. Also I know that the 2nd aegon was not in the show however he was I the books and is Jon's half brother from his father's 1st marriage. The kids who were assumed to be dead well one survived I guess.
