Hi is this an advanced version from soundtown SWM-16 pro? I have an LG tv C3 series. I hope it will work. It is for family home karaoke NYE party. I can't seem to find this one in UK only the SWM-16 pro, but the mics seem better on SWM-16-SMEGA version🇬🇧
I would like to at least try the BT functionality to do "something" working. There is no mention of how to make that happen in the guide. UA-cam help vids on this model are hard to find.
What are you trying to do exactly? When I enable bluetooth, I can connect to it via my PC or phone and record - sound quality is degraded over bluetooth, but it's pretty plug and play when I press the BT button
@@MichaelNobleMusic I'll pause the BT issue. I get zero connectivity via the optical ports/cables. I have an optical OUT port on the TV, but no option for optical OUT on the TV's audio menu. That is maybe part of the problem. The other is more of a question. What is the Microphone Channel functionality? Does the Microphone need to be in sync (same channel) with the unit? I would think so, however, there is no mention of this functionality in the instructions.
Hello sir! Why it has delay on my soundbar., i used hdmi from tv arc to sound town arc, then optical out from soundtown then optical in to soundbar ., i have delay
Weird! Wish I had an answer, but it could be anything from the brand/model of soundbar you're using, the TV, even down to the cables themselves. I'm using a Majority Everest system with a VIZIO TV and there's no delay for me
Ah that sucks, I don't have that issue. That can be super hard to trouble shoot because it's usually hyper specific to your setup. Trying different cables, different speakers, disabling any processing like Dolby atmos, or DTX, if applicable, that's pretty much all I can say to try.
Awesome review 👏 👌
I just purchased mines and I'm going to use it with my TCL smart TV and my Yamaha sound bar with 10 inch sub system. Wish me luck
Have fun dude!
Do i have to connect it to sound bar? Can this be used with only smart tv, no sound bar?

Have you reviewed any other Sound Town gear?
Not yet but I need to!

i have the same set up but i can hear a hissing/ground sound.
Strange! Have you tried a different interface? Could potentially be preamp noise. It's pretty low noise for me via my 2018 Mac mini
I have the same unit of sound town but i have observed that my voice has a little bit delayed everytime i speak... any tips that you can advice?
