Here's my feedback on more in-depth videos on modelling and other process. - I'm a Blender modeller, so it would mean a lot to me if you've had those full videos being some kind of extra content on your channel, releasing after the short version. I really want to learn to make models like these myself one day!
Hey, that's not a bad idea for a Patreon tier. I know a lot of people would be willing to support his extra effort in getting that content out. And if he were to get subscriptions for it, it might be worth the extra work for him.
@@garrettbaker8098 I agree, even if it would help a lot seeing all the modeling and painting process you should consider making it a patreon tier, good luck with your channel!
Also, I would love if you started making not only mount remakes - but remake some other stuff - like buildings or NPC's who have no high-poly model to this day..Yes, I'm looking at you, Arthas!
@@almas4663 I'd love to see some of the old armour sets get redone too. Some of the old stuff is just a flat texture and It'd be cool to see it get an actual 3d model.
Orgrimmar wolves I'm not sure about, because I've disliked every Blizzard attempt at an updated wolf, and the easiest way for him to do that himself is to go with the official art as a base like with the last 3 updates. That is, unless he wants to sculpt and paint the important bits from scratch. And even then, I think the only time the wolf animations have been good is on the original 2004 models and every newer model uses them poorly, so unless he wants to do animation work I don't know how good of an update it could be. Ideally he would fix all those problems but that would be a lot more work.
I've looked into it already. The Blizzard updates use the same rig. I can take those as a base, adjust the mesh to be more shaped like the original, and not touch the UVs so that I could effectively use the exact same textures. I would still make adjustments to the texture where necessary to achieve the original character of the mounts, but this would be probably the best way to do it.
Just discovered you. I liked and subscribed only because of this video. I wish Blizzard hired you to do these "low priority" upscales/remodels because people like us need them and love them. It looks amazing!!
I honestly dont care if the video is 5 minutes or 20 minutes, seeing all the time you put in these is insane, i always love watching your videos and will continue watching them all.

I can imagine that people who would love to learn a few things would like to see more of it. But for me the amount is perfect in combination with what you say and explain. You did not only remade the model, you took it a step further. The armor looks bulkier/stronger, the drums (a bit lower, appriate that) looks sturdier, the head looks less like a bird, and the chains makes the entire model consistent. It's an upgrade not an update ! That's high level, GG, amazing job ! Just like all your models updates video.
This makes me so happy to see. And a fair point to mention in the video, that a missing overall of certain models/mounts isn't the fault of the artists. They just do what they're paid to do. Anyway - thank you so much. Loved to watch you and would love to see the whole process honestly. Makes for a comfy video IMO.
This is impeccable. As a native, the tauren are naturally my favourite race along with the kodos and wyverns from warcraft 3. So awesome to see the kodo masterpiece you've made here!
Don't have to be a native to fall in love with such creatures and the inspiration behind them :p I mean... In essence, animals are still seen as lower lifeforms by most but at the same time respect and appreciation towards and for animals and their characteristics (a trait natives were/are known for, obviously) are at the highest point they've even been. And while I'm at it, one doesn't have to call animals "God's creations" to show that appreciation/respect. In general, people are beyond confused about very basic things nowadays... And they refuse untangling these misconceptions and undoing/evading the consequent issues (much resistance, so wow). Easier to judge/mock/dismiss/provoke others and deflect, it seems. Anyway, enough off topic.
