First time I hear a "not 100% accurate" Tornado of Souls solo that sounds as good as the original. Raphael is incredible as always and the band is just perfect.
I can't believe this cover. I cannot believe the singer, he sounds absolutely incredible. He got all of bruce dickensons inflections, and made it sound like what bruce would do for this song. The guitar player blew my mind when he hit that solo. He was playing so precise with his picking and the way he used his own personal touch to blend with the solo and properly show his skill without forcing anything. The bass was so heavy and really helped bring everything forward, while staying in perfect sync with the drums. And the drummer just nailed it perfect, he stayed so solid with the groove and made it look so easy and effortless. This was again so incredible. Thank you!

ollie sks nah, the timing is a bit off in places and its more whacky than it is on point. It’s great playing either way but it’s too over the top for this kind of song, just like his Dickinson on uppers at the funhouse vocals. If he just sung it like Dickinson singing the melody of the actual song it’d have been perfect. But they went so over the top that it’s just silly to listen to.

Don't know how many times I've watched the solo in this, and I still have no words. Well maybe I do: whatever people think of Yngwie, he has a fire and a passion that others don't even come close to. Until this guy turned up, improving perhaps one of the most loved and perfect solos in metal, adding a fire and a flavour that even Marty doesn't come close to. I never thought I'd see someone outdo Marty while playing Marty, but this guy did it. Bravo sir, BRAVO!

This is CRAZY good, seriously the best thing I have seen all year, easily. The singer sounds EXACTLY like Bruce at one point in his career.

the guitarist is amazing. ive been playing guitar my whole life and im old. he put a lot of work into that solo. kept with the original but added is very exciting style to it. very impressive.

I’ve been involved in many a argument or conversation about this song. It’s easily the greatest rock/metal solo of all time. But the slant that Louis puts on this is absolutely sensational. I was genuinely pissing myself laughing at how good it was. Kudos to everyone in this- an absolutely stunning cover

Holy shit! That was amazing! This totally transcends the novelty of being just another solid Tornado of Souls cover. The vocals and guitar solo in particular make this a powerful interpretation that stands apart as its own work of art. Rock on, you badasses!

Omg this was so fucking good! I admit....I was judgemental of it before it even started, thinking it was gonna be another mediocre cover, but holy cow this blew my mind! That solo! Edit: You know what, it's nuts on the first listen but doesn't really have a replayability factor for me which is a shame, it's just a bit too nuts to enjoy for as many years as the original.

i dunno man i mean the guitarist here did a great cover and he used good embellishments, but if you look at the hardest part of the solo, the little spaz lick near the end, I'm pretty sure Marty's original version is harder. plus the fast part before that that this guy taps, Marty plays that one handed which i believe requires a pretty significant stretch: the way Marty did that part was harder too.

GOD DAMN. This is so utterly perfect that I feel as if I’ve heard it like this a million times. The band is on fire for the whole tune. The bass is chunky as hell, the drums thunder, and the lead guitar work is straight up impressive. There’s no way on earth that it would sound any different if Bruce himself was singing.

As the original is so perfect, all renditions are either weak copies or boring well-done copies, unless you do exactly what was done here: take the most important outlines, melodies and licks, and then personalize with own added notes, parts of phrases, articulation etc. Fucking BOSS, dude!
