This is a very well put together demo; neat and to the point. Great job.
Now THAT'S how you demo an amp! Great job!
I just bought this amp and I am impressed with it. It truly is " the sound that's in your head". Great job on the demo for this 👍
Just bought one of these! amazing how great it sounds in a mix
Okay hold on the fact you specified soft attack with fingers or hard with a pick is NEXT LEVEL. Bravo!
You do an excellent demo video... Thank You
Just got this amp, absolutely love it. Its my first tube amp, and paired with my strat it sounds amazing.
Do you still like it?
@@UNEAKinfluence absolutely, still the best amp Ive ever owned. 10/10
@@JohnCarr1231 wow. Thanks!
Such a versatile amp!
Got one a while back and it did 60s and 70s rock stuff very well, which is what the band I was in at the time did. It takes pedals well and gives you that *oomph* feeling in your chest. I later decided to upgrade to a peavey 6505+ 1x12 combo not because I didn’t like the blackstar but the 6505+ had my dream sound the moment I turned it on and I’ve been using it for my original material
Great video. Please do this type of demo for the Peavey 6505+ 1x12 combo. No one else seems to have done a decent one.
Used one to test out a Les Paul.... liked it so much I bought them both! And I have a lot of amps...
Just played this amp with two EL34 tubes and sounded killer. New one will be here on/before Friday.
Which do you prefer??
Blackstar the best for me.. modern and old in the same time... The ISF control is an amazing feature
That's just the frequency control of the medium.
The mediums effectively becomes parametric with it
Im impressed with its clean tone. U dont really associate clean with Blackstar. Sounds great
Great demo, nice sounding amp. The lack of a presence control is a deal breaker for me though.
This is the best demo I've seen of this amp. Seen a demo unit for 570$ usd, should I take it?
Damn that sounds amazing
Great video!
Excellent demo, let the sound prove what it can do.
What kind of guitar are you playing through it?
Man, this Amp looks big against my HT1. But the sound is big too, perfect for my Style of playing. Greatest tones for Blues and Rock.
By the way the melody maker sounds very, very incredible, great tones👍🏻👍🏻
@@MALO-nf1qz Melody Maker is one of the best Gibson's model
Now this is how an amp sound check is done. Im not sure if i wanna go with this one or the marshall dsl 40.
I had the ht 60mk2 and got rid of it to get a dsl40cr yet here I am again….
Finally a good review without bullshit talking
I wish the clean channel was a little more chimey, but I like it.
Nice one....
It sounds way too good!
wow... im starting to save for this beast right now! it will be my first tube amp, an upgrade from boss katana mk1. dont get me wrong, i love my katana, it is an amazing entry level amp, but i want the true and alive sound and a pedalboard lol! nice demo by the way
love the "no talking"
Anyone compare this to their kentucky special 6l6 club 40 or the new blue one?
I like the kentucky special but it feels very scooped. I have the blackstar studio 10 6l6 aswell and that one was much more low mids than the kentucky special . Makes me wonder if If this one and the blue club 40s have more lower mids . Maybe it has something to do with the eminence speaker in the kentucky special.
I bought the regular club 40 with el34s and that one is super thick sounding , maybe a lil too thick.
I really like the voicing of the studio ten, just want a bigger version with bass mid treble and more gain.
Is the version with the el34 just as good?
01:20 not quite as crystal chimey as a vox, but not bad. 2 x speakers are better spread and you'll be happier. ty 4 demo
Would you say the Artist 30 is better with the 2x12 and 6l6?
@@mindfall82 I would definitely say so but the Artist 15 is the star. I've gigged and recorded the 15 and 30 exclusively and they are excellent amps. Reliable, very little gain but great cleans and pedal platforms. The 15 sounds better up loud, and big for a 15w amp.
8:30
You know what would really help this amp?
A presence knob.
How would you say the cleans compare to a Hot Rod Deluxe IV?
Not the same thing but they are great. Takes pedals well.
blackstar win
This amp loves single coils
Why do these amps get such a bad rap? I don't hear anything bad with it. Sounds pretty versatile and good to me. Leaning heavily to this amp.
I just got one put aside for me in Quebec City. Gonna test it out in a few days. I watched one guy ramble on about Blackstar because they have lots of solid state components and other technical stuff. Apparently a lot of issues because the circuit boards aren’t built to withstand the heat of the tubes. Maybe it’s subjective because there enough people who love these amps. I’m excited!
The MK2 is 10x better in my opinion. The original HT series sounded so muddy and boxy, like there was a blanket over the speaker. That's why I hated blackstar for a while
I don't see this AMP with 6L6 tubes on the Blackstar website. Does the HT60 212 come with this Tube Configuration?
All blackstar has darker tone character , some people like it, others hate it.
Gotta say…I just don’t like it..played it and it sounds solid state..like the tubes aren’t even there.
@eldenjohn4540 just wasn’t my style I guess.
Very noisy…
Great video!
