Same, loving it. I think some streamers and folks no-lifeing it run out of content, but I'm only able to play ~1 hr a day and won't run out of content before they push more stuff out.

@@ThaFiggyPudding what content? lol the tasks are totally pointless, the PVP looks soooo bad and there is again no point in doing it. the guns dont even look good, so who cares about unlocking new ones. Tasks are a joke, map is pretty bare fucking bones, its a walksim for rats.. this game wil be completely dead in under 6 months mark my words. Unless they actually figure out a way to make PVP fun and easy to find. imo the devs wasted their time, this game will never go anywhere. regardless

I have a 3070, graphics on medium. TSR/frame generation on. I consistently at 90 frames.
Same here but the input lag from frame generation is terrible
I got 3070 and 5800X3D. I get about the same performance. But the server got me crazy. Stuttering and laggings make it unplayable.
Yeah Im running the same settings with frame generation off and it feels pretty good. Apparently you can turn off frame rate limit in the nividia control panel and leave fram generation on.

I have 3080, medium and get 30-50
I have a 7900 xtx.
Settings on high, frame gen and FSR on, getting around 130-170 fps depending on the area.
I have the same GPU i hate seeing the game with FSR on id rather play without as its way to blury.
People really need to stop recommending frame gen.

@@daniellamb6462 Honestly it's not that bad, it's an early access game and not optimized well at this point so I am not going to put everything on max at native just to destroy my card. I'd rather the performance for now until they start making it worth playing when it's more optimized.

If you buy the base edition, can you upgrade if you like it after to a higher edition?
And how is the game? Mostly PvE? Or high chance for Pvp? And is it good for solo as well? Or should it be in group mostly?
Great for solo gameplay if you wanna play in the pve servers, game is also a blast with pvp enabled servers and it’s super easy to make new friends with people in your faction. I started out buying the base game just to test it, and once i realized i loved it, i bought the supporter edition and it still gave me everything and i had no problems. Once they fix some issues on this game it’ll be golden, i would recommend anyone to try it.

Mostly PvE but as you progress the quests you'll get into PvP.
There is official (free) PvE mode with persistant progress
Solo is great. You can play 100% solo BUT you will meet other players from your team doing their own stuff (like in DayZ for example)
The first set of quests are set in your faction's "starter town" which is very close to your base camp with little chance of meeting enemy players (you can still be TK'ed). Once you unlock LZs to other areas of the map you'll get a much greater chance of finding enemy faction players doing the same quests
its a walksim.. if u like walking thru bushes and shooting completely braindead AI. then go for it. The traders, guns, tasks, and even the map arent fleshed out enough to keep anyone busy for more than 20minutes.

I always get disturbing lighting effects. It's hard to describe but it's basically completely dark inside and flashing weak lights at the same time whenever I enter buildings. I try to fix it by playing with every settings and it's not working. I run this with 3070 and 5800X3D.
I have not really looked into optimized settings. I'm running it on epic with dlss and I get 90 frames on my 4070 with about 28 g of ram
I love this Game ! For me its playable with a 3080, but ya we all know there is some problems they need to fix. And the Performance will be better in the Future. Lets wait a bit :D

ue5 that's what's expected. They'll get a ashot ton of data from this ea and hopefully optimize it but it runs exactly like anything on ue5 right now

I think you should be able to jump a bit early from the chopper on top of the tings they already changed.
Free look is very usefull, especially when youre about to land at an LZ. It helped me spot an enemy earlier and i immeditely ran into the bushes so i wouldnt die. The guy didnt find me so he extracted att he same lz. Then while i was waiting for a heli for 11 MINS! An enemy player flew in and i shot him in the back and he had a decked out M4

I never had issues with frames and I have a 1080ti. I’m playing on epic everything with FSR on at 14440p. I get 60-70 frames. Game looks beautiful just some stuttering from time to time. I was very hesitant about buying the game after reading all the comments on the discord launch day but glad I did. Games fun and worth the price. Only real issue is that I have the headless bug with no secure container

This game is paced like squad for fight long distance then die back to respawn back to the fight, I think later on it’ll be good PvP atm its slow don’t think it fits your play style, since you like quick PvP there and then ? what you generally think that’s what I want to know. I have a predator gaming laptop with a 2070 maxQ and I can run this game with a steady 50-60 fps.. i also have a desktop with ryzen 7 5800x and radeon 6800x red devil and i get 80 - 90 fps on that. I think people just don't have their systems set up to maximize performance and this game being truly next gen is forcing people to actually go into their PC settings for the first time in awhile.
Bro I have a legion 5i pro lapotp with 3070ti, i7 12700h, 32gb ram (2000$). The game runs at 35fps in 2k and 40fps in 1.5k all low settings. I don't know how you get such good fps, maybe you play in 1080p ? Good luck seeing ennemies from afar then..

I think it's a good mix between pubg and tarkov !! in terms of gameplay, it's a good wargame with quests and realism. 35 is a good price on steam for beginners. thanks tony!!
5600x 4070, Max settings, frame gen on. with dlss. constant 115 fps. never going back to that russian game. this game is amazing and will only get better.

As an alpha version, this game is in a great spot. With consistent updates overtime I do think there is big upside potential!

Playing this game in PvE only mode and already have 25+ hours. Having a great time and the AI can be pretty damn good. I decided to try out the airport area and it was great. The AI is actually pretty smart, they will flank you, take cover, check your last location, even just hunt for you in general. You'll hear them calling out for you as they search the area.
Keys are usless after you do the task......No loot or anything special in them.... Game needs more loot!

You haven't found a good key then there's several that only have weapon cases

i had to return it cause it kept crashing. what bothered me was no toggle sprint, ads, or walk. also no ads mouse sens which is a nogo in a fps for me man
yeah I agree and a lot of the movement is very aggravating. Like sideways moving is super slow, eating and moving is super slow. Game needs a couple years to cook and anyone that disagrees is smoking pure copium.
Funny part that I have to use google to check if there is any VoIP. There is but there is no keybind in settings xD

game is sick. 3070 and getting 90fps. what helped the most was changing aas to fsr over dlss. got me a 40 frame boost. yeah it crashes...cry about it. games looks amazing and it plays well.
also setting your graphics settings higher actually helps more...which is funny but you'll notice a drastic difference

Idiots don't understand that low settings tax the CPU more. So they put everything on low expecting better performance but then their GPU is literally sitting idle and their CPU is getting overloaded

We’re “months away” from getting day night cycle and night gear. Plus in early access we’re getting faction control zones for capturing, spawning, and more questing at POIs. Since they’ve tweeted these things, means they’re almost ready obviously. Point is, we don’t know if it’ll take “years” without a roadmap

Im actually getting sick of people saying "performance is good, just turn on frame generation". Frame generation is not true performance, its ai interpolating frames between the real ones. Its just a frame smoothing technology. In reality its only recommended in story type games, not shooters.
Frame generation adds significant input lag and IMO as someone whos logged thousands of hours in PC fps games it feels awful.
Optimization needs to be improved 100% in this game and i cant see that becoming a priority for the devs if the player base is accepting 140 frames with dlss and frame generation active. A gpu as powerful as a 4090 should be getting 150fps+ in native 1440p with no frame generation but its not even close.
I love this game and in my opinion it’s the only game I am ok with using dlss and the Nvidia frame generation stuff but I turn super resolution off so it still renders in 1440 I only get 110 to 120 fps and lucky with the nvidia low latency stuff it doesn’t feel bad but in general you are right dlss and frame generation should not be something companies are promoting the use of.
Honestly? This is a first game that forced me to use DLSS. Got 140FPS in every game just changing settings that I need. Here is a different story.

Can't run it on my rig (5600x, RX6600, 32 gig, M.2) but it runs like butter in 4k on Geforce now founders teir with a good ethernet connection so that's where it stays until I can justify a 4080 in an entirely new rig. The price for the game is reasonable, the barrier for entry (PC costing $2000-plus) is tough to swallow.

5800x and 7800xt are running it just fine, thats maybe $1000 with the rest of the build to get it running smooth at 1440p

The only thing that holds EFT back is their servers and awful hitreg, which seems to be the same exact thing GZW suffers from with the braindead AI tanking headshots at times. Game is basically unplayable you cant see more than 30 to 50 yards and even then close up still looks like shit still performance is sub par but not absolutely terrible. JUST WAIT dont listen to the people saying it runs fine on their 40 series and 64 gigs of ram because it doesnt run the same even on the exact same builds.

This game is released way too early - all because of Tarkov drama. Going with quests further (like level 15+, Fort Narith, Midnight Sapphire, Tiger Bay) game is one big festival of bullshit deaths and aimbot AI. Movement, aiming, sounds etc. all that stuff needs improvements. Also servers are lagging as hell, bots are not registering headshots, there is a lot of work to do with this game. This game in current state is worth not more than 20$. It's not early-access, this is early alpha that should never see daylight! Played 50+ hours and left it for good. Waiting for PvE in Tarkov.
Bullshit deaths and aimbot ai are inevitable in early access. It just has to happen so it can be tuned. Same with servers lagging. That’s what this stage of the game is literally for. Stress testing and balancing everything

We got 2024 year and this game runs like shit on most computers that everyone needs to use frame generator, AI is dumb and got aimbots, PvP is almost not existing and they charge 35$ for this pre-alpha build? I spent 50 hours to check lvl 3 vendors and mostly on repeating dumb quests where 30 npcs are one-tapping you. That is not right bro. I wish them luck to make a good game, but calling it "Tarkov killer" is hilarious

the game is very blurry and pixelated due to the forced and aggrresive TAA being used in this game, very hard to see anything after 20 meters even at native 4k resoultion, 4070ti 5800x3d 32gb ram game is on m.2 drive, played with all diffrent settings combinations and that doesnt help, its baked into the game, biggest complaint for me so far, game is barely playable and PVP is impossible because spotting is pretty much impossible.

Try fsr with performance and turn on the super frame generator and try that, and everything else on low, and cap your fps to your monitor refresh rate

Pvp is impossible ? I can tell you have only done 1 mission. Pvp is insane once you get to the missions other factions have in the same location. Had about 10 kills pvp just last night in under 1 hour

The game was promised to end Tarkov, but in reality Grayzone ended his own carreer in his first second of life because of the lack of stuff to do except repetitive task, and pvp ( not even a extraction shooter neither )

This game is garbage. Getting streaming monetization influences streamers to review positively. The game is on a road to crashing and burning. It's green and brown trash. I'm running a high end setup and so many people think it's beautiful. I don't. Everything about it is cheap and trashy. The engine they are on is capable of so much more. If you like running endlessly to fight AI that are out right easy to kill then go for it. I straif left and right and destroy everything in sight. It is complete trash. The map design is stupid.
I must say that this game has wonderful trees and forests. And you can also see in zoomed scope for a very long distance. Otherwise perforrmance is really bad :/
