I've been thoroughly enjoying this game so far. I'd probably describe it as the Insurgency Sandstorm of extraction shooters. More casual than the more hardcore stuff like GZW and Tarkov but more hardcore than others like Hunt Showdown. It's a nice balance when done right and there's definitely an audience for it. I hope they keep it up.

Yea ABI embarrassed Tarkov. Better QOL features and performance and graphics on day 1 of beta compared to 7 years of pissing away an amazing IP.

I haven't played the mobile version of this game at all but this game looks so good. Can't wait to play it. I don't care how copy/paste it is, I just want developers that care about their playerbase.

I play Tarkov and I also played ABI, for the moment don't expect it to be superior in immersion, it has arcade. It's a CoD with mods.

There is nothing I hated more when I used to play tarkov than having to constantly communicate where ever I was and have people communicate where they were.
Dont try and tell me this is a good thing. Half of the people in lfg discord server are streaming their pov to their teammates so that they can know where they are. Instead of having to stream that, just have a tiny icon above my teammates head!
People who want to enjoy their time in a game and who cant treat a game like a second job cant get into tarkov easily. I dont have time to pull up fuckn pen charts. I just want to play the game

The fact landmark can casually play with streamers like shroud shows that as a channel he has made it to the point of being able to add variety content to his channel. His name is ubiquitous I think anyone would play anything he is interested in playing with them.
Just a heads up there's breif delay when opening boxes ect that allows to take cover behind stuff when looting depending on the location of the box
I noticed that the gun animations when running and reloading has a lot to do with how fun pvp can feel for me

I started my first ever wipe of Tarkov back in March. Fun but brutally frustrating. This game is nice because I don’t need to do homework and get my masters just to play the game. Maybe not quite as rewarding but the fun has outweighed the frustration so far.

Honestly seeing so many gamers actually happy playing this game is good stuff... If anything people should want this competition between both of these companies... It makes a better end product and the gamers benefit from it. Also seeing how fun the pvp looks and its actually rewarding killing someone for their gear..

It looks like a more casual version of tarkov, maybe a fusion of tarkov and mw2 but I can't comment on gunplay since i haven't played it. Tarkov is still the same for me, but this one looks promising, and tarkov should implement some features from this game as well. I will probably be playing both games in the future
I think the only thing the game is missing right now is "atmosphere" i think the maps are too generic, they need more weather effects and moody elements
Look up the mobile version, there a lot more maps than just farm. There are storm mode aswell, which is basically night mode

does this game have skills as well? I feel like the recoil being trash out the start would be fine if eventually your recoil smooths out or becomes less jumpy on first shots as your related skills progress; same for EFT

Eft ragdoll physics are better imo. Thats a big one for me, but this game doesnt have a ridiculous fov multiplier when ADS like eft and i hatee that
Ragdoll is mostly not added because this is a beta, if the mobile has ragdoll then the pc will later

My major thought with this is. What is the point of the traders besides missions if you can just buy everything from the market anyway? Seems like theres no progression
It’s a closed beta… they’ve probably changed some stuff for the sake of those testing. highly doubt it’ll stay that way
thing is, some stuff is much cheaper off contacts than off the market, and some items are unavailable to be bought of market. pretty damn smart to keep prices stable with contacts too.

@@phriza. call me weird but i do hope that there is stuff thats not available on market or traders and can only be found in raid. Things like high tier ammo and such
As a mobile player the traders give gear bundles and supplies for completing some missions, you can unlock some items like a free 6 slot keychain from Evita, later updates added faction leaders who give you a new weapon depending on who you side with and they give new supplies you can only get from them if you don’t find the items from other players in game you kill and loot those items from. Some traders have specific missions for different modes as well and like the other guy said they are usually cheaper to buy anything from rather then the player market and you can flip those items for higher and just farm money that way if you really went straight broke and suck at pvp and can’t make it out with enough gear/money
People say it's "arcady" but it simply looks well made to me.
I'd like bigger maps and a bit more character but that's pretty much it.

I play this on mobile version, im kinda confuse when people say this game is p2w. If u have problem with koen (in game currency) go to raid (armory for juicy koen), loot mags as much as u can, unload all that mags, bullets is hot sales in market. Well yes u can buy koen with money, but who does that? Better for buying cosmetics or weapon skin right?
I feel like for casual players and people with jobs and other things we have to think about being able to know what loot worth taking and be able to spend less mental brain power on this game and just play it and have fun is so refreshing.

People forget tarkov is a hardcore game thats why there is no maps and easier way thats what makes tarkov tarkov lmao the pain in the ass of not knowing where the hell you are on a new map is awesome.
how to get access
Although this game copied Tarkov, it improved many shortcomings of Tarkov, such as smooth running speed and quick matching. Moreover, the picture quality is more refined and the light and shadow are very beautiful. At the same time, many good functions have been added to facilitate players. So I think this attitude towards making the game a good one deserves recognition from players.
some things that are also nice. when looting, on the bottom left of the items itll tell you if its a teammates or not.
Also nice feature is any rounds you also pick up goes back to your teammate. Also if your teammate dies and has a bigger bag i think the best part is your teammate gets their bag back and you keep all the loot. Such nice improvements that are so small but are so significant.
Also knowing what the conditions for extracts are is a REALLY nice feature so you know ahead of time/next raid. I never understood why tarkov likes being mysterious/3rd party to find out anything from it.
ALSO a huge thing, if i buy something on the flea it has this "operation tact" thing and i believe you have to use it in a raid before you can flea it. So you cant just buy something and resell it on the flea. Also not being able to put keys in your characters butt right away is so nice and stops people from just stashing super expensive keys away.
All the mad tarkov glazers are hilarious the game is fun and they cant get over it.

Do you have problems making money in eft? Majority of the streamers receiving kits have millions and millions of rubles, it's not about getting free shit it's about the viewer wanting to see them use specific stuff for a raid. Viewer kits will happen more often in this game because the viewer gets his stuff back so theres no cost to bring it.

Tarkov should cpy some features like roll-up some rigs or bagpack... Sound... Performance (however ABI has low quality when you see long distances and behind windows... some fog inside houses... is not GOOD) tarkov needs improve lag desync , time to join game...ABI when you click to play you sometimes just wait few seconds so....... TARKOV is Good(not enouth with 8 years) and ABI have time to get better things if they not use method pay to win... TAARKOV has a good progression method... you need play too much or so well to gain XP fast. its good experience.. for now ABI i think everything is unlocked...
In the mobile version you sometimes queue instantly.

@@hxans no, mobile has SEVERAL issues. Huge lag and desync issues, bullet registration being an utter joke, rng deciding wether your t5 works like t5 or t1, huge inflation, many players having over 100m storages, and as a personal wish, lack of solo vs solo matches.

The animations and sound design (the voices and the noises like the ADS sound, not the directional, that is really good) needs a bit of work. If they can improve on it, it will be a good contender to tarkov for sure

This game is looking really good and really enjoyed playing GZW. BSG done goofed pissing away an IP for so long and then shooting themsleves in the other foot too. Either way, glad more games are coming out on this IP
BSG didn't shoot themselves in the foot, there was just a coordinated PR attack on them by content creators that owe their entire careers to Tarkov. The whole narrative that EOD promised all future content was a fucking LIE and anyone regurgitating that lie was likely being paid to do so.
I bought EOD. It very clearly said "Season Pass". That's an actual LEGAL term, by the way. It does not, and never has, since it became a term in the 1800s, mean that you get all future content or access forever. That's not a thing. Anyone who believed it is either illiterate or simply believing the words of someone that is lying.
Meanwhile in reality, Activision churned out 11 full version of Call of Duty at full AAA game price in that time that Tarkov has been being regularly and actively developed. They put out new content regularly, and don't charge for it. But Call of Duty has charged their fans $720 in the same span that I've been enjoying Tarkov for a total of $250. Yet there's a massive outrage campaign aimed at the $250 product and not the $720 product. Which tells me there's no logic here, there's no rational thought-- it's just a bunch of angry nerds being directed by big business on what to think. Hell, likely funded by Activision. DMZ mode didn't work out for them, so they figured hey if we can't just steal Tarkovs concepts, we'll have to kill Tarkov via misinformation lmao.

one thing im not a huge fan of is the names over heads and all the unnecessary hud clutter. like how controls pop up on sc reen everytime you ads.
Just wait until you guys can play on lockdown and forbidden modes. It really changes the environment and is very punishing. Especially on Amrory and tv station maps. It promotes players to bring in expensive gear. In mobile, that is where the skilled, rich players mainly live in. You will find less skilled players rocking cheaper loadouts in regular map modes

Does anyone know about cheater problems this game may have because of the f2p model. Does it have better anti-cheat than tarkov?
apparently it does, but we won't know for sure until open beta, when ALOT more people start playing
In the mobile the anti cheat was good enough to detect cheater second at start of the raid. I remember my teammates goes invisible second after respawn (i think he goes off map kind of cheat) and then system kick him out from the game in second.

I really like it because its more casual i loved Tarkov but it got me tired tryhard playing it and then wipe again and again...hackers etch... specially after the new edition...we pay EOD for nothing!

the game is in beta and i think its ok for now but gun animations looks and feels cheap its like your playing a 10 year old cod game in 2024 and it feels wierd but UI features are great i loved that , as a free game this game has potential for sure
Looks promising, not a fan of bots as they ruin the suspense of gun fights. There has been a hole in the market for a good game to fill for years now so I hope this is it. Hope they do a BR mode with a closing circle to make all the campy boys fight, always liked that about BR's.
