  • Down and dirty comparison video of the Vedder Light Tuck vs the Tulster OATH for a Springfield Hellcat. I don't cover the details of each holster... you can look at those on your own. I just wanted to show a video comparing the two and why I like the Vedder better. I will be sending the OATH back to Tulster since I'm still within their 30 day trial period.
    I'm not a gun pro. Just an average guy that thought I'd share what I found between the two holsters and I hope this video helps anyone interested in the two holsters.

      Thanks!! It's actually my second Light Tuck. First one was for my XD-40 Subcompact. I love that one as well!! Been looking at your Light Draw holsters for OWB.... Just wish there was an option for a belt clip rather than closed belt loops (standard or pancake). I know a clip doesn't hold as well but I'd prefer a clip. Any chance you guys might be offering a clip in the near future?

      @@LS67NOVA As of right now our LightDraw design is sticking with the closed-loop system, but I will bring this up to our design team. We are always looking for new ways to refine and innovate :)

    Your video confirmed what I said in my own video when comparing the exact same two Holster’s. The one thing I should’ve said was the wider belt clip on the Vedder Light tuck keeps the holster from r rocking side to side like the thin belt clip on the Tulster Oath 👍🇺🇸

    • @Tulster
      @Tulster 3 роки тому +3

      Tulster, checking in! Our holsters do require a sturdy 1.5" belt to properly function. Leather belts like the one featured in this video won't get you the ideal carry experience, so we'd recommend trying it out in a proper situation before making a final judgement!
      We do offer 30-day money-back guarantee as well, so if you're still not a fan, no problem.

      @@Tulster All I read from your statement was that the Vedder is more accommodating across more belts. Yours will require the rigid belt, while most of us have one, we may at times want to wear a more traditional one. I bought the Tulser and I just cannot do it. The metal clip relative to the wider hook grip is terrible. It rocks, it snags putting it on or taking it off and and that part protruding near the muzzle is uncomfortable, it digs into us. If I could return I would but I bought it well in advance to getting my gun so I cant.

    Totally agree with the ride hight point. Lets face it im a tub o crap. I really wanted to like the tulster its comfortable and well made but the barrel of the hellcat doesnt even make it past the back of my beltline even adjusted all the way down. every time i get up i have to push it back down. Its not their fault im just to juicy. But the vedder an the middle ride hight seems to stay right where i need it to be.

      Have you actually tried both vedder and tulster? I'm having the same dilemma right now, trying to decide between tulster profile and vedder light tuck. I want something that rides lower in my pants and I know tulster is not ride height adjustable

      @ChrisHirner Рік тому

      @ryanragan8899 yup i own em both for the hellcat. Both incredible quality but both about 30 bucks overpriced. Try the desantis slim tuk. Its minimal and doesnt require a claw plus its 28 bucks at the high end. Ive been runnibg that for about 3 months

    I have the Vedder Light Tuck. Works great, conceals well and gives all day comfort. Highly recommend Vedder Holsters. I carry AIWB with a strong sturdy belt. You are really printing with the Oath Holster. Need a bigger shirt, they also say darker colors are better for hiding your firearm.
