Good tip about measuring the side.
I don’t know if I have this yet but if I don’t, I definitely need to get it. It’s just after New Years so they have their sale on atm. Love notions patterns are the best!
Congratulations! That's amazing. Great pattern review. I love wrap dresses. I think they look great on every body type.
Congratulations on achieving this benchmark! You sew deserve it! It is very obvious that you work hard to fill your channel with great, useful sewing info! I have become a faithful subscriber!
14000 and one, glad to be in the House. I collect vintage patterns and I like how the Wrap top and dress have gone through the decades. I made a top from the 50s and I love it.
Ooh, I love vintage makes!
Congratulations !!!!
Thanks Kim!
😀
My favorite pattern, actually dressed in one at the moment. Willow wrap and the Tessa are staples for me.
Kim, please consider making a matching dress for your daughter and granddaughter. That would make a beautiful portrait.
Thank you!
Congratulations on 14K!
Love, love this dress!! Explain your comment about elastic at the waist please. Super awesome video!
Just sew clear elastic to the seam allowances at the waist without stretching. It adds strength to the seam.
Love your reviews gives us a measure of interest to explain the patterns. One thing I would request that the pattern stay up in the corner of the screen. This gives us a visual as you go through so we can see the sleeves, neckline, and so on.
That is actually a really great idea! Thanks!
Hi Kim… I’m going to order the pantries pattern but do you also have a bra pattern too
No, I’m sorry about that. I have never ventured into bra-making
What's a "modesty panel?"
A modesty panel is a little bit of fabric covering part of the V neckline so that cleavage doesn’t show.
How is it sewn in/applied?
You can zig zag it right on the edge
