OMG I'm just seeing this and I'm teaching myself how to sew by using UA-cam and this is the easiest way to make a sleeve in my opinion. Thank you so much for the tutorial
I have been scared of adding sleeves to outfits for yonks, but this video tutorial has given me the confidence to start trying to add sleeves to outfits I make from now on. I get it now. Thanks
I am confused at your formula: in your previous calculation for some bodice measurements, sleeve Cap was; Bust divided by 12 + 1 & here you made it Bust divided by 12 + 0.5.
Thank you for taking your time to teach. I thoroughly enjoy your videos. I watched sewing tutorials on a lot of channels before I settled for yours. I don't at all mind the length of your videos. I am learning so much from you. Please, keep it up. God bless you. Amen.
You are indeed a very good teacher. I wish I knew this 20yrs ago..😂 could you also mention it in centimeters please? Thank you for your clear explanation.👌🏼🌹
Thanx so much Vivi, I always had a small problem with my sleeve. If not too big, its too small. Now I would like to know the exact measurements to use when doing a sleeveless garment. Must I use the same shoulder and armhole measurements I use when making a garment with a full sleeve?
@@MAGVIVICREATIONS Will adding the seam allowance only to the lower part of the sleeve and not the top cap of the sleeve take away from the curvature of the cap of the sleeve when you sew it? Or did you already add in a seam allowance to the sleeve cap when doing the measurements Before cutting it out?
Please Ma i have a question to ask. Please is there any bustier dart that stop on the upper bust or chest line but there still be a neck but the dart stop on the chest line?
Hello ma, please when cutting out on my fabric, should I fold this sleeve pattern or leave it wide open ? Also should I cut on fold or spread out the fabric?

Thank you Vivian for your well explained tutorials. My question is, do you add sewing allowance to the cap of the sleeve?
You're welcome, the allowance is added at the lower part of the sleeve.
