He did not make eye contact or notice Ruby until AFTER Ruby fired his gun. Film & photos do not lie, regardless of Leavelle saying how he noticed Ruby holding his gun and then pulling Oswald away prior to the actual shot. Watch the film.... You can tell that two came from a rifle chambered caliber. But one of them is a much higher percussion discharge - you might be scratching your head when you hear the order of the shots from the audio. As they said in old Sesame Street days, "one of these things doesn't belong with the others." And it is true that the .223 caliber round does tumble upon impact. That's what it was designed for - massive internal damage, and has been known to tumble at impact, creating a "key hole" and fragment into multiple pieces following along internal bones, and structures and wreak havoc on your internals. The .223 55 grain round has a muzzle velocity of 3200 fps compared to that of the 6.5mm x 52mm 162 grain with a muzzle velocity of 2100 fps. (two different percussion signatures). In addition, and coincidentally the .223 is the decimal equivalent to 5.7mm - coincidentally. Lastly, at 90 yards, three shots with that type of rifle in under 6 seconds is fairly impossible no matter what kind of Marksman Oswald was or was not. (especially in the condition "his" rifle was reported to be in). Moreover, the trajectory of the bullet that fatally shot President Kennedy could not have come from the angle of the Depository window. it came from behind at a few degrees above ground level. Wind that day was headed towards the Texas Book Depository, yet dozen of people including politicians swore in testimony and statement that they smelled gun powder from behind the Presidents Automobile. If you have never shot a rifle, let alone a bolt action then I urge you to do so yourself with a modern rifle and see if you can get off three shots within 6 seconds. The rifle used that was collected and determined to be the one used in the shooting - I wouldn't be able to do and I am a very competent and extremely accurate competitive Marksman. They were both laser-focused on looking straight ahead and then to the right as the vehicle moves in. They should have been glancing right and left for any suspicious moves. Oswald heard it for the first time by a reporter in the hallway and didn't even get to talk to a lawyer. "If they're going to be shooting at you, I hope they are a good a shot as you (so I don't get hit ) -detective Leavelle in jest to Oswald while putting on the handcuffs to his arm so he wouldn't get away before walking him to his murder, whereas when it came to ruby later, no handcuffing because "don't worry, no one's going to be shooting at you, since you done us a favour".
