This is one of those tattoos that reflects "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". Choices do have consequences and those who want tattoos are no exception.
Added to the fact that the price of the problems of these tattoos fall on the healthcare. Choosing to do risky eye-tattoo because 'it's cool' and when it goes bad, majority of tens of thousands of euros surgeries goes to the universal healthcare system. Majority of the western world will have to give treatment, even if the patient doesn't have money for it. There should be a clause of "you got it, you pay the treatmen" just like there is now push on smokers via higher taxation on cigarette prices to offset the increased cancer, etc risk. People can tattoo themselves where-ever they want for all i care, but i don't want to be paying when their goofing and playing goes bad. Your choice, your money. I don't get to choose, i don't pay.
There’s definitely merit to this idea that society shouldn’t have to pay for someone’s extreme behavior. I’ve always thought the same when people go paragliding or jumping off of cliffs or whatever. My tax money I shouldn’t have to pay for all that rescuers you have to come get you.
Exactly. This is the same as people who scarf down incredible amounts of fast food and then try to sue the fast food industry because they became obese.
I’ve worked at an eye clinic (not a Dr) and I’m sorry, but getting an eyeball tattoo has to be one of the most foolish moves I can think of. Your eyes are SO delicate. They are intricate and finicky and very temperamental , and when you lose your vision, you can often lose it for good. It’s utterly baffling that people would put themselves at risk of going blind for an aesthetic that can be more safely achieved with contact lenses. It’s your choice, but seriously consider if you would be okay with permanent vision loss or issues that you give to yourself for a style.
Oh, yeah... I had an episode of very high blood pressure during the night about 2 years ago. It led to a small bleeding in my left eye and I still have a small spot in my vision. I don't notice it anymore in daily life unless I focus on it. It's amazing what the brain can do, just like you don't notice the tip of your nose unless you focus. But as someone who has eyes and sight, I would not ever risk losing my vision for a tattoo.
@@derekhayter4879 in my case, there's no point in having a million when I'm already happy. risking losing an eye isn't worth something that doesn't make a difference in my happiness lol.
I agree with you . I have bad eye sight and for me to get lense implant in my eyes is 9000 Canadian dollars and that’s so I can see I can’t imagine doing eye tattoo it’s so scary and I wish people would stop getting eye tattoos cuz being blind is so scary i experience half blind and had eye surgery done to save my eye sight and I’m so grateful to have had my eye saved from being blind. Being blind is not a joke.
As someone who is living with partial blindness due to traumatic brain injury... these tattoos are inconceivable to me. Why would you risk that? You have no idea what a PRIVILEGE sight is until you lose it.
This is insanely stupid. I wear eye protection just for minor household repairs or pouring drain clearing chemicals. My ex used to say "Don't put your face close to the unstable cat. It only takes one claw to the eye...." And they will become bored with the colour rather quickly. Yet they took this kind of risk.
Piotr's nose is unusual, and he has some strong brow bone formation. Unless he gets a nose job, I can still recognize him, but I don't believe I will want any future tattoo services anyway. I was going to do a scar cover up, but I changed my mind.
You can gain knowledge but not intellect anyone with an IQ over 130 can tell you about being in elementary school and realizing that they are smarter than the adults and teachers around them.
@@johanjotun1647 no idea what my IQ is and dont care, but I can absolutely confirm this... I remember the exact moment in first grade when I thought "my teacher is an idiot" lol
that Piotr guy is known for performing extreme body modifications (think removal of body parts) - he also argued with Aleksandra when they wanted to stop the procedure and informed him about pain and immediate impact upon vision. This man is vile and has had a separate case going on for performing surgeries without medical license
All by request tho, f around and find out. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I could go on, but, I figure most of us are educated or have a semblance of common sense, ish. So I won't.
Don’t get me started on Samppa von Cyborg and his wife. They do elf ear surgery and other forms of body modification travelling around the globe and I was considering getting one years ago. I changed my mind because after all, they’re no licensed doctors (I think Aneta is a nurse? I might be wrong) and if anything bad happens you’re screwed. Afaik you sign a waiver so you can’t sue for medical malpractice or negligence. Heck they could kill you in some hotel room should they mess up your anaesthesia. Police has been onto them too but it’s a legal grey area.
What about as an Assistant in a Pie Shop? Myself, as a successful actor on the big screens, I too find it a bit scary. However, as a Police Woman, I find it enviably unavailable to me. As a News Agent, I find it interesting but risky.
I can’t believe the OP thinks that eyeball tats aren’t risky and shouldn’t affect your eyesight. I’m sorry but what med school do these tattoo artists go to? How in-depth are they with anatomy and physiology? Coloring in side of the lines isn’t good enough when it comes to vision. It’s not the same as inking on a body.
"No one is supposed to go blind when getting their eyeballs tattooed" is a great conversation starter to really let everyone know you make terrible life choices
@@littleme3597Exactly, and now when you think deeply, most things you can blame yourself for easily if you think deeply enough. But yes, this instance tattooing your eyes is not definitely one lmao. I have no sympathy or pity for these people.
@@Styphoryte while this is true, people should learn to do better and take responsibility for their health and any risks to it, one can't completely take away the blame from someone like the Polish tattoo artist who didn't even attempt to tattoo such a dangerous place relatively safely. Yeah....anyone who opts for this should never get credit, never be able to buy a house or car....they have shown what type of decision making they possess....ridiculous.
@@celle_tattoofor me it's the most scary one because you can go blind. Vision is literally everything. If u can't see your screwed. Other body modifications the worst case scenario is having a random mutilation on your body. That possibility of going blind thing makes it that much worse.
“No one is supposed to go blind when getting your eyeballs tattooed” is the craziest line I’ve ever heard, we are surprised that needles in peoples eyeballs are blinding them? This is crazy work.
Medical student here - the eyes and brain are 2 parts of the body that are protected from the immune system. The immune cells that circulate in your blood do not have access to the brain or the eyes because the antigens (signaling molecules on cells) in these organs are entirely different to the rest of the body. If this barrier is compromised, your own immune system will start attacking the organs!! I have no idea why anyone would actively choose to take this type of risk for aesthetic reasons... all it takes is one mistake and you're blind, this could also start entirely new autoimmune conditions in your body because your immune system is out of control. Just because you *can* do something doesn't mean you *should*
Honestly, as someone into heavy body mods, they also just look like sh!t!! It looks all patchy and trashy, and you would probably have to get it redone to get it looking okay which increases your risk soooo much. It straight up just looks bad in a majority of the cases, even if it's done perfectly, because its not a full tattoo, just a few injections that are supposed to spread around.
I have Sjogren's as well as another, more serious autoimmune disease. Because of the lack of moisture in my eyes, my lacrimal and meibomian glands are shot. I deal with erosive corneal dystrophy. I can no longer drive at night and even with perfect diopter correction, I am incapable of 20/20 vision. My eyes are always blurry because of the dryness. I would be thrilled to have my eyes back. Why ANYONE would do this is totally beyond me. Autoimmunity sucks. It doesn't go away, and living each day is a struggle. I promise, it's not worth it. Ask anyone who is autoimmune.
I was just having a conversation about this yesterday. I love tattoos but this is one that crosses boundaries because of the risk of going blind and having other eye issues. We already have other health challenges in general, why give oneself a high chance of having a medical problem if we can decide ? And this is my opinion, if an artist causes a person to go blind, they need to have their tattoo permissions revoked. It's a privilege to be able to tattoo and make money from that. They need to feel the repercussions. Clients are people not just canvases.
To me, it depends on why the person ended up going blind. If someone ended up developing an autoimmune disorder like Anaya, that is not something the artist could have predicted or really done anything about, nor is it a sign of the artist acting irresponsibly.
I love tattoos and body modifications, I have a whole lot of tattoos and piercings and am rooting for anyone else who wants to customize their body. HOWEVER, there are "modifications" that should not exist, should never be performed, and people getting them should be getting serious mental help. I'm talking removing noses, ears, fingers, etc.. someone who wants to remove their nose is, pardon my unprofessional opinion, in need of psychiatric help. Body dysmorphia is something that should never be ignored. It is a serious problem. Yes, it's their body and I support their right to do whatever the f they want, however, these specific intentions tell me there's a deeper issue here that needs to be addressed. Coming back to eyeball tattoos - I feel like that's right there on the cusp of being body dysmorphia. I don't think it's as bad as removing digits to look like an alien, but it's getting there. I would say the cool asthetic of having your eyes tattooed can be achieved in many, far less dangerous ways. It's a huge risk and the payoff isn't always great either. Having said all of that, if you want your eyeballs tattoooed, go to someone who knows how to do it. Do your research. And also, maybe get some help mentally just to make sure you're ok and not slipping away. And honestly this type of modification should require a specific license, but what tf do I know.
I mean laser eye surgery is terrifying. A lot of people have minimal complications, sure, but when people do have complications, they’re deadly. So many people are committed suicide from laser eye surgery. Basically the surgery severs the nerves and you just have to hope they heal back together properly, for a lot of people they don’t. Nerve pain in general is excruciating, now imagine it in your eyes. I wanted laser eye surgery for a long time but after learning about how horrifically wrong it has gone many many times before I just could never do it
@@sugarpuff2978 I decided long ago that I was far too paranoid about doing it and have resigned myself to wearing glasses. Every tattoo artist should have 1 of 2 signs: "Eyeball tattoos are NOT accepted here." or "If you want an eyeball tattoo, you will have to sign a contract agreeing that you are aware of potential blindness coming from it and that we are not held liable for any potential blindness that may happen to you." They have contracts like this in boxing and UFC, so Tattoo artists should too IF they are willing to do them. AND Charge a buttload for them to discourage them, but also just in-case someone does try to sue them, even after signing the contract because you know they will. People lack common sense, critical thinking skills, and accountability. Eye ball tattoos should be like $10k - $100k just to discourage people from getting them in the first place.

I have multiple disabling conditions-physical and mental- and it’s a bit odd having those two perspectives duke it out. As someone with physical disabilities (not blindness though) I will never understand why able-bodied people risk their absolute blessed privilege of health for aesthetics. At the same time, as someone with mental disabilities, I understand how looking in a mirror and seeing something you aren’t happy with can make you miserable. I understand how someone might want to do anything to ease that pain. I can’t really make a decision on which side of me is more reasonable because I’ll never experience having one without the other. It’s something I can’t imagine, so I definitely won’t be judging. Regulations need to be super tight though. Sheltered, impulsive people who just turned 18 who don’t have a good grasp on the word permanence (no shade, it’s part of growing up!) need protecting too.
i cannot speak for every able bodied person, but i can say that my brother and i really admire prosthetics designs and have discussed what we'd get if we ever had to. but it's not like we're choosing to maim ourselves or taking chances on dangerous body modifications, we just genuinely appreciate prosthetic designs. the eyeball tattoos are pretty wild tho... i've known about them and kind of wanted them for a decade now, but i know the risks and just want to wait to get them, if i ever do. i've done contacts for fun and that's enough for me for now lol. i was kind of thinking maybe i'll get them tattooed when i'm already getting cataracts anyways and i feel hypocritical saying this but i agree that 18 year olds probably shouldn't make huge body mod decisions. i'm a hypocrite though because i got huge forearm tattoos as soon as i turned 18 and i just don't regret them personally. so it's not fair for me to say that, but if i had a kid i'd personally encourage them to wait till their mid twenties to do any body mods, just to be safe.
I admire you for speaking out on this, and I'm fascinated by your unique world view. I've seen both sides argue against one another, and you're in a unique situation to be able to understand both sides. Hope you are well 💜
I'm in a similar boat, and I know what you mean. I'm anorexic, but I also have a couple of neurological conditions which have been getting progressively worse. My health was already shit before I developed an ED. I feel this enormous sense of guilt for making my health even worse, just because I have a problem with my physical appearance when I'm at a normal weight. But the causes of EDs go so much deeper than just vanity. I think it's related to my OCD as well as trauma. I think that able-bodied people are more willing to risk their health, just because they take it for granted. Being young also factors into it, due to younger people often being healthier, but also because the chemistry of the adolescent and young adult brain promotes risk-taking behavior, by placing more weight on potential rewards as opposed to potential consequences. When I was 16 years old and healthy, I used to do any kind of drug I could get my hands on, I did my own piercings with safety pins, and smoked cigarettes without giving it a second thought. Now I'm 33, chronically ill, and every single day I get up at 8am, eat vegetables, and drink at least 50oz of water.

This Friday June 14, 2024 I will see my eye doctor again hopefully good news. A while back had a retina eye tear in my right eye that needed surgery twice. I couldn’t see well out of my right eye. Years before that I had Uveitis in my right eye 2 or 3 times again temporarily loss vision. I thought about getting my vision corrected by surgery but some people end up having bad results like eye pain. So I’m not going to. My right eye has had issues too often to risk it. I worked as a surgical tech during many eye surgeries and I was in charge of passing over all the instruments, prepared, to the surgeon who would be looking through a microscope. Patients were also partially awake so we made sure not to speak unless needed. Even the slightest bubble in the needle that could get into the eye would get you yelled at because the eyes are SO delicate. DUMBEST THING I ever heard : at 0:01 you say " No one is supposed to go blind when getting their eyeballs tatood"" ....FALSE .It's simply kind of "normal" to go blind or to have serious complications while doing it .Many factors involved such as injection of the ink into the eye , the lack of anesthesia (so the person getting tatooed involuntary moves and risks big time the procedure) , the fact that the "artist" is not a surgeon ,etc, etc .Paying $10,000 for self inflicted blindness ?...ha ha ! ..NO Thanks ...even if Jeff Bezos gives me a billion dollars I'd say NO !

I love tattoos and I respect everyone's right to do what they want with their body but oh my god I can't comprehend what goes through people's minds who are doing this. Your eyes are SO precious and if even the best eyeball Tatooer out there is telling you that you might loose your vision then I can't see how this is at all a safe procedure. I am not trying to victim blame for the girls who got a botch job because obviously that's out of order and they have raised the chances that it'd go wrong for these girls massively and they might have been fine otherwise but this procedure needs to be highly gatekept legally.
It's supposed to be a rite of passage of body modification, not just an aesthetic procedure. Yes it's quite extreme, but at the end of the day people should be free to do whatever they want with their bodies, periodt.
@@Yulenka- yeah I agree that’s why I said it should be gate kept not banned. Only done by professionals medically trained and on people who are sound of mind and have gone through a sitting of the risks etc not just some random guy who doesn’t even know what ink to use legally doing it
as someone who has poor eyesight and chronic eye issues, I'm kinda dumbfounded that people would risk their eyesight for aesthetics. only people with extensive medical training should be able to do anything to your eyes, your eyes are so sensitive but so crucial. my heart goes out to the people who've had long lasting complications from scleral tattoos 😢 and there needs to be more awareness about the negative outcomes of this procedure to dissuade more people from getting it done
As someone who's had major/invasive eye surgery, I appreciate your perspective. Having a scleral buckle for the rest of my life means I didn't go blind, but my peripheral vision is mostly gone on that side (detached retina). Absolutely agree on medical professionals being involved with this. It sucks being at a higher risk for glaucoma and having to re-learn to drive (I couldn't see one of my side mirrors anymore). The thought of losing my vision at 31 was utterly terrifying, and I had wonderful doctors. This is nuts.
I have brown eyes, but I’m a little insecure about them. I thought about getting surgery to make them blue when I’m older until I read that can cause blindness. It would be so stupid for me to go through that only to not even be able to see my eyes finally blue.
Answer to why Piotr's face is blurred: In Europian Union the identy of people who are involved in court cases is usually (not always) protected by law. The reason why, is because it's believed that a person should no longer suffer from their wrongdoings after they completed their sentencing. Hope this helps.☺️ And sorry for my bad english😅
people with english as a second language who speak it better than us fluent primary language speakers apologizing for their bad english always makes me chuckle. No Americans I know would write as good as you lol.
My sister had her eyes lasered over 20 years ago. In 2008, we were at my newly refurbed flat having dinner, and she said she felt like a bit of mascara or grit went into one of her eyes, and began to really hurt. We had to abandon dinner and go to A&E for her to get the grit/whatever it was flushed out of her eye, and the Doctor said there were scratches on her eye. I can’t even imagine why anybody would willingly have dye injected into their eyes, it is insane. It seems that since the millennium, people are upping their game and will do ANYTHING to get attention, eye dye, cutting off healthy body parts, - what is going to be the next thing? people cutting off their head, and walking around with it under their arm? it is insane. What happened, to make people do these absolutely insane things to themselves. It has really stepped up since the millennium. The world went crazy.
social media has a monumental impact, not to say people weren’t being attention-seeking before, but now i think the ease of attaining global attention and it being offered to anyone and not just celebrities has dramatically exacerbated what people will do and how many will do it
I had eye surgery (LASIK) you're not supposed to feel anything, they squirt a bunch of anesthesia until you can't feel anything and then they go in with a needle ,but you don't feel anything. Idk why a tattoo would be any different, this is horrifying
Okay so I was so intrigued by this that I went deeper into the case of Aleksandra, if you'd like to hear some more of Polish madness. She was invited to some morning TV show where she said that "she never read anything explicit about losing vision after getting a tattoo" but that "she doesn't regret this tattoo at all [even though she lost her vision], only the artist choice". On the other hand, the guy she was inspired by, Popek, heavily criticized her... About the tattoo artist, he only does piercing now (tattoo isn't a medical practice, so he can't get a ban of any kind, law-wise), but the funny thing about the edited photos is that here one can be the most public person in the country, but if media mention them as a crime suspect/perpetrator their surname becomes a letter and their pictures are censored, whether it makes sense in one's case or not. Even the most famous actors etc. I'll never understand tattooing eyeballs, because when all's fine all's fine, but then when some issues arise, doctors will turn you away, since medicine isn't about practices like this and they aren't ready for all the complications that come with such modifications. Terrible cases, truly.
They have a large variety of contact lenses that safety change the look of your eyes. You can have “cat eyes” on Monday, and “alien eyes” on Tuesday, without the costs and risk. 👁️👁️
As long as you care for the contacts and your eyes properly, like soaking them in contact solution for at least (I think) an hour before wearing them (at least, that's what I've heard for colored contacts)
I thought the same thing, you can always buy those huge black Sclera contacts. It's probably not very good you, but 10000000000 times better than fuckign NEEDLE AND INK to your eyeball!
Not even if I'm paid 10 000 dollars I won't endure such a procedure. I can't imagine what these people are like, that risk 10 000 dollars to go blind. 😢
There are but people still do stuff illegally, look at the black alien project, he’s removed his nose ears and plans on getting rid of his legs, none of it legal but he still found a way.
*I am from Poland and yes - we almost never get to know someone's full name or personal information unless they allow it. The case You discussed was a huge thing in polish news back then... We never got any information about this... "artist's" identity. I hope he's not able to hurt any more people.*
I haven’t heard the name Pauly Unstoppable since I was in high school. What a blast from the past. I didn’t even know that they transitioned. I hope they are living their best life!
I've done two of my piercings at Piotr's studio. You don't really have much options in Poland i guess when it comes to bodymodification. This guy i think he founds himself able to perform all kinds of that. And he has indeed big portfolio of all different kinds of stuff. When i saw his full offer of bodymodifications i was like laughing with my friend about it that he probably never done some of those but still put that in his offer because he thinks its easy peasy. And when i first heard about that girl i imidietly check if its him. And well my intuition was right about that guy
I couldn't stand getting contacts because of the discomfort and I hate having anything that close to or touching my eyes so a needle repeatedly penetrating my eye for minutes at a time sounds like the worst torture. 😫 I hope that the community learns well from these incidents. Maybe someday there will be a completely safe way to achieve this same effect because admittedly it does look very cool and fantastical.
If there's one place in my body that I avoid any kind of modification is my eyes, I did eye surgery once and it was enough to know that you just mess with your eyes if it's really necessary.
And me over here being all scared when some dirt or something comes in my eyes!!! THERE IS NO WAY IN DAMN HELL AM I EVER GONNA GET A DAMN RANDOME DUDE TO DO THAT TO MY EYES
At what point would you ever consider an aesthetic body motivation to be indicative of a mental disorder? Risking going blind to have your eyeballs tattooed seems to me to be one of these instances. It would be good for them to require a mental health exam when before these are performed.
Animals have the innate sense, to protect their eyes. I can hardly get my cats to let me clean underneath with the tear-stains. I totally do not get this.
Wouldn't all plastic surgery that isn't done to cover up severe disfigurement then be sign of a mental disorder, since the person undergoingit willingly risks the complications of anaesthesia, which include nerve damage and death, for aestetic reasons.
@@beardiemom No, severe disfigurement has a net negative impact on your life; that's why plastic surgery when it is done in order to ameliorate severe disfigurement (for example a burn victim) is covered by insurance. This aesthetic change directly affects your quality of life in a way that painting your eye balls (for example) does not.
If someone had contacts that looked the same I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Way too much of a risk. Sight is one of the most precious things I feel I have as well as hearing. I'd never compromise one of my senses for a body mod.
“Tattooed eyeballs please” I cannot imagine any sane mentally stable person wanting to burn money and destroy body parts even after research. It’s totally Senseless, pun intended ☠️
My heart aches for all three affected, but especially the second woman and her daughter. I hope she is growing to love herself and her skin so she can teach her daughter to do the same. The child seems to have a good head on her shoulders already ❤️ For all who read this, remember: health is wealth. Protect it. As cheesy as it sounds, it is true. Happy new year!
I feel for the child, not the mother. She was warned by her child who clearly has more sense than the literal adult, and selfishly did it anyway. Like someone else here said, she won’t be able to see her child’s face anymore and watch her grow up.
Personally, I go by "you do your thing, I do mine." If someone wants to get body alteration done, that is entirely their choice. But personally I think tattooing your eyeball, a quite sensitive organ in the first place, to be a particularly unwise decision.
tbh if it were me i would just get scalera lenses if i wanted that look. i love tattoos and i have many, but i constantly worry about how they will receive medical treatment in the future as most eye-related diseases have to do with the color/visual appearance of the eye itself 😭
In my opinion, if you want to get this type of tattoo, it's worth waiting all the time and save all the money that it's necessary to do it with an expert. It's your eyesight we're talking about here 😔 I'm so sad for the last two people. P.S: I love your content, Celle! From one tattooed girlie to another ❤ sending love from Chile.
Omg poor thing! I've only done 2 procedures but I can tell her brows have a lot of potential. I spent over an hour alone making sure my client was happy with her mapped brows and told her I wasn't going to tattoo until she loved them. I didn't care how long it took! I hope to create content on this platform soon to explain what brow tattoos are and the questions you should be asking when choosing a brow artist. It is a very detailed procedure with a lot of steps and the artist should be trained and confident before taking on a client.
This video unlocked an aversion in me I didn’t realize I had. I am so grossed out by people doing close-ups of their eyeballs while they pry their lids open 😂. I had to look away every time this video showed those clips. 👁️ 👁️
@Zacharias3 Totally! The only way I got through my Lasik procedure was with a big fat Valium and even then it was rough. Best thing I ever did for myself though! I did it in 2008 and still am so happy with my eyesight.
The 'I don't regret it' cop out for literally causing your own blindness really pisses me off.... I'm so over the 'no regrets' thing. Option 1: You are so out of touch with reality that you don't appreciate the importance of your eyesight and how much it contributes to your daily life. Which would put you dangerously close to being an asshole as well. Option 2: You regret it so profoundly that you cannot even being to cope and have to deny it to get through your daily life. I really don't like the body modifications communal mentality of regret nothing. The changes you make to your body can have really profound unknown effects that I bet would 100% change your decision, unless you are the option 1 person.
Completely agree with you. If everyone has this mentality of 'no regrets' all the people who are not happy with what they got are looked over. People could learn from those mistakes, mistakes of others that they don't have to make themselves.
This is one of those tattoos that reflects "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". Choices do have consequences and those who want tattoos are no exception.
All tattoos used to fall into that category, and society once knew that.
Let’s see, Luna Cobra…. you think it sounds satanic??
🙄
People are DUMB that’s just it.
It looks scary to me. Though i have ugly tattoos they are on my legs and arm. Not face or eyes.
It should be common sense to not put a needle or anything sharp near your eye.

Just because you *can* do something doesn't mean you *should*
They know better and they don't care.
Well stated. These are so-called first world problems - self induced at the throne of vanity.
I don't feel sorry for these people. That's just stupid! 😜
@NotVille_?? Why did u copy and paste that
@@Spedxg Yeah that was odd lol
This person copies other people's comments. I've seen them do it on other videos. I just ignore and/or report as spam

Sheltered, impulsive people who just turned 18 who don’t have a good grasp on the word permanence (no shade, it’s part of growing up!) need protecting too.
i cannot speak for every able bodied person, but i can say that my brother and i really admire prosthetics designs and have discussed what we'd get if we ever had to. but it's not like we're choosing to maim ourselves or taking chances on dangerous body modifications, we just genuinely appreciate prosthetic designs.
the eyeball tattoos are pretty wild tho... i've known about them and kind of wanted them for a decade now, but i know the risks and just want to wait to get them, if i ever do. i've done contacts for fun and that's enough for me for now lol. i was kind of thinking maybe i'll get them tattooed when i'm already getting cataracts anyways
and i feel hypocritical saying this but i agree that 18 year olds probably shouldn't make huge body mod decisions. i'm a hypocrite though because i got huge forearm tattoos as soon as i turned 18 and i just don't regret them personally. so it's not fair for me to say that, but if i had a kid i'd personally encourage them to wait till their mid twenties to do any body mods, just to be safe.

Terrible cases, truly.
thanks for the additional info.

Just wait until cybernetics are real and cheap you will have people hacking off health limbs just have the next cool cybernetic grafted on.
@@misanthropicattackhelicopt4148 already happening with at least one person. Look up the black alien project, he's got some wild things planned
Why can't they get contact lenses to change your eye color
I've done two of my piercings at Piotr's studio. You don't really have much options in Poland i guess when it comes to bodymodification. This guy i think he founds himself able to perform all kinds of that. And he has indeed big portfolio of all different kinds of stuff. When i saw his full offer of bodymodifications i was like laughing with my friend about it that he probably never done some of those but still put that in his offer because he thinks its easy peasy. And when i first heard about that girl i imidietly check if its him. And well my intuition was right about that guy
Wow. Thanks for sharing the first hand experience.
These people arent the most intelligent. You just have to look at them!!
At what point would you ever consider an aesthetic body motivation to be indicative of a mental disorder? Risking going blind to have your eyeballs tattooed seems to me to be one of these instances. It would be good for them to require a mental health exam when before these are performed.
Learn more about what a mental disorder is and you'll find the line. People who want body mods aren't mentally ill.
Definetly not. If someone is addicted or wants to have a bad outcome maybe.
Yes the child is sensible and responsible
I feel for the child, not the mother. She was warned by her child who clearly has more sense than the literal adult, and selfishly did it anyway. Like someone else here said, she won’t be able to see her child’s face anymore and watch her grow up.
@@AshleighBaggins Wow, you’re so cool! Look at you, withholding sympathy. You are very badass!

I’m just saying truth. Sorry it isn’t what you want to read.
Isn’t it convenient and telling that the guy who created the eyeball tattoo procedure has yet to have it done on himself? 0:35
You calling Piotr ‘pee-odour’ is killing me. It’s not a funny situation at all, but it still made me laugh. I hope his victim is okay.
Personally, I go by "you do your thing, I do mine." If someone wants to get body alteration done, that is entirely their choice. But personally I think tattooing your eyeball, a quite sensitive organ in the first place, to be a particularly unwise decision.
Some people are so unwise that they need to be protected from themselves.
Imagine being so starved for attention that you are willing to trade your eyes for it. I sure can't.
tbh if it were me i would just get scalera lenses if i wanted that look. i love tattoos and i have many, but i constantly worry about how they will receive medical treatment in the future as most eye-related diseases have to do with the color/visual appearance of the eye itself 😭
Eloquent & thoughtful journalism 🤘🏼
I’d love to see a new modification that involves being so kind and helpful to someone else-
it changes you - for the better.
How is that a modification though? That's just basic.
I love your voice and the way you tell stories, so many peoples voices are annoying and they talk to fast. Yours is soothing and calming!
I appreciate them sharing their stories to dissuade others from this procedure even though you know the internet will be mean af about it
This video unlocked an aversion in me I didn’t realize I had. I am so grossed out by people doing close-ups of their eyeballs while they pry their lids open 😂. I had to look away every time this video showed those clips. 👁️ 👁️
Ugh, I'm right there with you l. It makes me feel kind of nauseous.
Yeah, I struggle with putting in eye drops. Can't imagine enduring this for the sake of style and vanity. Lasik is rough enough.
@Zacharias3 Totally! The only way I got through my Lasik procedure was with a big fat Valium and even then it was rough. Best thing I ever did for myself though! I did it in 2008 and still am so happy with my eyesight.
I have only one good eye left. I can’t imagine wanting to stick things in it for kicks.
People could learn from those mistakes, mistakes of others that they don't have to make themselves.
thats the same thing i thought. Really exposes the ignorance of those people which explains how they could get something like that in the first place
